Stay Encouraged

Do you have inspirational quotes randomly placed throughout your house? Well, I do. From sticky notes to the screensavers on my phone and laptop, they are everywhere. I intentionally placed them where I can see them so I will not have to look far for a boost of encouragement. Let me tell you, it works!

Was sitting at my desk thinking about how I should have handled something differently. Was really beating myself up over it, and then I looked up and saw these two quotes.

This one made me smile.😊

This one reminded me that this too shall pass.♥️

Now, I am smiling. The thing I was beating myself up over seems like something of the past, even though it was less than an hour ago. One of the reasons I create and share inspirational messages is because I know how easy it is to become discouraged. One word, thought, or conversation can trigger negative emotions. Keeping something positive near is essential.

I pray you are having a great day. Be blessed!♥️

I Have A TikTok

Yes! I am on TikTok. Lol

I’m still trying to figure out what content I’d like to share. A few days ago, I decided I would use it for my inspirational quotes– Shaun’s Daily Inspiration. So far, I like where it is going.

Below is one of my first TikTok posts. It’s not a quote but something I was having a little fun with. Maybe as I become more comfortable with the app, I’ll venture out and do more. Until then, I will stick with the quotes.

Wednesday Writings

Yesss, it is Wednesday already! Only two more days until the weekend! Nothing big planned. I just love my weekends.

Well, I’m not going to take up too much of your time. Today’s blog is to encourage you to stay the course. You may not be where you imagined you would be at this time in life; however, you are still here and definitely on track. Do not allow minor setbacks to stop you from moving forward or believing in your full potential. If God gave you the dream, vision, and purpose, it is already yours. I would typically say, “Claim it!” However, recently – like last night – God advised me that it was time to move beyond “claiming it” to “receiving it.” So, receive what God has for you. Receive it and OWN IT! Got the “OWN IT!” part from Bishop T. D. Jakes (smile).

That’s it for today. Please enjoy your Wednesday!
