God has placed a unique gift inside you that’s part of your purpose and calling. Whatever He’s called you to do—which will always be attached to serving others—Do it! As I have mentioned in past posts, things don’t have to be perfect or ideal for you to get started; however, it is important that you start and start now. Someone needs you, today!♥️

A couple of years ago, I started sharing “Self-Love Saturday” videos on TikTok. I’ve been debating on whether or not to continue sharing them on TikTok or begin sharing them on my YouTube channel. We shall see.

It’s Self-Love Saturday and the day after Valentine’s Day. Be sure to do something extra special for yourself. Me—I’m going to go buy myself some discounted flowers and candy. Smile

Listen, life is too short to keep waiting for things to happen. Always make the best of your life as it is now. There’s so much beauty in NOW!

Simple message, yet it is often difficult to do until all noise is blocked—both externally and internally.

All it takes is ONE decision for our entire life to change. What may seem like a small decision today could actually be one of the greatest decisions of our lifetime.

My Journey With God, No. 62

Re-reading Christy Nockels’ “The Life I Long For: Learning to Live from a Heart of Rest” has been more about revisiting my reflection notes at the end of each chapter than actually reading the book. Here’s one about me trying to maintain a balance between pursuing my dreams and staying present (February 2022)—

Balance. Is there such a thing as balance? Either you’re working towards something or you’re enjoying the moment. Seems as if doing both is impossible.

That was written three years ago, written before I finished the book. By the time I finished it, I had found that balance. I discovered I could do both—actively pursue my dreams and stay present. The catch was, and still is, God has to be the center of it all. I cannot live the life I desire without Him being so. When I place myself in the center and try to do things from my own efforts, that’s when I feel off balance. And that’s also when God gently reminds me that He’s in control. Yes, HE is in control. Smiling

Y’all, God is so good. I just can’t express it enough how grateful I am that He loves me. I am so blessed.

Happy Love Day, Part 3

Decided to continue with the “Love Day” theme. Smile

So, this is how my “Love Day” is going…

Decided to take a short road trip to the coast to be near the water. If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know it’s one of my favorite places to be. Being near the water makes me feel like I’m one with the universe and closer to God.🥰

Lunch
In the first chapter, Christy says, “I find it beautiful that God both made us in His image and named us in His image. … God is love.”

In the words of Jasmine (Princess from Aladdin), “It’s a whole new world.” Gotta love life.

God is good. Soooo very good. Taking nothing for granted. Enjoying the breeze from the water. I’m truly blessed.♥️ ~Shaun

Not only are you loved, but YOU are love. Yes, you are one of the truest definitions of love. You were divinely created to be so. Believe me, God wouldn’t have it any other way. The way you selflessly give and pour into others is unmatched. Your heart is pure, and your kindness is genuine. When you smile, others feel it. When you say, “I love you,” you mean it.
