Hello Sunday

Wonderfully blessed. Grateful.🌸

Hello Sunday! Not sure what I should write about this morning. I scrolled through my Facebook memories and read past journal entries from this date and nothing popped out. Maybe I will have something to share by the time I write my second post.

Well, these three things/phrases just came to mind. Hesitant to write them. Perhaps they will mean something to you.

Illusions
Trust God
Be prepared

That’s it! Very random.

Maybe I should have shared one of my Facebook memories instead. Lol. We shall see what I post next. Until then, please enjoy your Sunday!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Side note: I really hate feeling like the weird person every time I share things like this or random prayers. I promise y’all I am not crazy. What I am going to do is trust God, even if I sound crazy.🙏🏽

**Had to come back and add this part.**

After I published this post and stopped trying to figure out what those random words/phrases meant, I heard “Confidence.” My confidence. I must be confident in what I know God has for me to share. I focus too much on not wanting to sound weird or being called crazy. It’s not about me. It’s about God and His glory (which I shared yesterday).

Obedience
Acceptance

I hear You, God.♥️

The Transition

Five years ago today, I wrote, “Transitioning to something new,” and now I can’t help but laugh at how naive I was. I used to think that I would become the person I wanted to be overnight and that I would live the next 25 to 50 years as the finished product. HA! Little did I know that transition is an ongoing process and it takes time. You have to go through challenges, learn from them, and then go through even more. If you want to keep growing and reaching your full potential, the process of evolving never stops. Don’t know about you, but I want to keep evolving until my final breath.

Here’s what I shared on June 29, 2019:

Still excited by the transition. I am forever in awe of God’s work. Loving the woman I have become and looking forward to meeting the woman I am becoming.♥️

For God’s Glory, Part 2

While I was writing my previous post, “For God’s Glory,” I kept hearing Tasha Cobbs Leonard singing, “For Your Glory.” So, I added her song to my Instagram and YouTube posts. I guess you can say it’s my praise and worship song for today. Everything I do is all for God’s glory, not mine. He’s my reason. Amen.

Wishing you a wonderfully, blessed day!♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Good Night (14)

Be blessed!

Wide awake but trying to wind down. Only one more day left in my birthday month and I am still celebrating this new stage of life. This year is nothing like last year. Last year I was trying to figure out how to set the tone for the next 50+ years to come. As I have said many times before, I asked God for this next half of my life to be different from the last. And it pretty much is. That was last year.

This year is all about gratitude for the simplest to the greatest of God’s blessings. Every ounce of praise—from accepting God’s love for me to me loving myself—is my expression of gratitude for God’s love, mercy, and grace towards me. Y’all, I can’t express it enough, I am truly, truly blessed.

Call me crazy if you must. Just know that this joy and peace that I now have is so genuine and like nothing I have ever experienced before. You better get you some.♥️

Good Night,

Shaun

Life

Y’all, I’m 51!

Y’all, I still cannot believe that I am over 50! Seems like a dream. I was just 21, yesterday. Lol! Not sure what I thought 50 would be like or how I would feel. Honestly, as I have said before, I really didn’t put too much thought into life beyond 50. It was just an age on my timeline. An age that I had decided would mark the second half of my life where I would do anything I pleased. The first half was the test run for trial and error. HA!!! Another “Aha” moment. I guess you could say I manifested this too. Wow! I just love my life, and I just love how God loves me. Definitely blessed.♥️

Beyond blessed. Loving me!! Loving this side of 50.🥰

Divinely Created

Have you ever wondered why you are not like others? Why you think and act differently?

The answer: You were divinely created to be different. You were never made to fit in. Everything that makes you you was done purposefully. Embrace who you are—all of you—and SHINE!✨♥️ ~Shaun

I really do love you!! Be who you were created to be and own it!

Surrender Your All

Wanted to share this message with you. It blessed me earlier today, and it is still on my mind after several hours. It’s about surrendering to God. Not surrendering in a few areas of your life, but in all areas. Here is what I wrote when I reshared Joy’s reel. By the way, Joy Bradford, is my cousin’s beautiful wife. She is a purpose coach and co-pastor (along with my cousin) of New Vision Fellowship Church in Brandon, MS.

My response/caption:

THIS word right here!!! I remember when I used to pick and choose which areas I wanted God to handle. The others, I just knew I could handle them best. Boy, was I wrong! Not sure how many times I had to bump my head before completely surrendering my ALL to God. Y’all, it was the BEST decision I made. Can’t believe I was so afraid to do so. Listen, when I tell you God’s got you, believe me, He’s got you! #BeyondBlessed ♥️

Honestly, it wasn’t until I began to completely trust God that I was able to surrender my all. It wasn’t until I said and truly meant, “Any way You bless me Lord, I will be satisfied.” And y’all, I mean this wholeheartedly. I know His plans are not always aligned with mine. However, I do know—which was why I was so hesitant to fully surrender—He’s not going to bless me with anything less than His best. I now know this, and I trust Him. Amen

That’s all. Just wanted to share. Hope it blesses you as much as it has blessed me. It’s another point in my life that I never imagined reaching.

Please enjoy the rest of your day.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Tunnel Vision

As long as YOU and God know where you are headed, no one else’s opinion matters. They cannot see the vision God gave you. Block the noise and chatter—even your own thoughts that cannot fathom where you are going—and focus on God’s guidance. He knows where He is taking you.

It’s tunnel vision season. Trust God!

Stay focused on your God-given vision. You might look crazy today, but you won’t tomorrow. Love you!♥️
