Never Give Up On Your Dreams

How many dreams have you given up on in your lifetime because they just seem unrealistic, unobtainable, or your time has passed? I don’t know about you, but I have given up on many dreams—too many. Mostly because they had not come the way I imagined they would. They always required work that I was either not prepared to do or didn’t want to do. Yes, dreams take work. Smile. Well, this year, Year50, I had to ask myself if I was going to spend this side of 50 giving up on what I wanted most or go get it. My answer, “Baby, I’m getting everything God has for me!” I am not letting any of the dreams I still have die with me, and I suggest that you don’t either. You cannot afford to let them die. God gave you those dreams, which means you can actually have them if you want them. Now, go get them!♥️ ~Shaun

Don’t give up and never stop believing. You’re closer to your dream than you think.

Remember, you have to work for it!

Second Chances

Blessed.🙏🏽

Do you believe in second chances? Do you believe that missed opportunities actually come around again? Well, I do. I am currently experiencing it. Had no idea it was about to happen. Know this, the dream(s) God placed inside of you will come to pass…when you are ready. You may have thought you missed your chance or fumbled the first opportunity, but you didn’t. The first time was just a test run. Will share more soon.

Listen, I do not care how tempting it is to settle, or how bleak things may seem, do not give up on your dreams. They will happen.

Be Blessed♥️

God Always Finishes What He Begins

Shaun’s Daily Inspiration: April 5, 2022

Smile. God is still working. Whatever He began, He will finish. Hang in there.

It might take years, but God always finishes what He begins. Unlike us, He does not get tired or give up. Even when we have given up, He continues working. So, do not be discouraged by the wait or setbacks. I believe it is His way of making sure we are prepared to properly accept, handle, walk in, and live in the finished product. We have to be ready for it.

Y’all, I am so grateful God is patient and allows us time to process our fears and doubts. That He overlooks the countless times we self-sabotage opportunities because of our feelings of inadequacy. Yes, I am so grateful that He does not allow our egos to win. I don’t know about yours, but I know my ego can be a bit much at times. Grateful He does not give up on us when we have given up on ourselves.

Grateful and blessed.

Remember, whatever God began—even in your childhood—He will finish.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Shaun’s Daily Inspiration: March 2023

Such a wonderful memory [referring to a post from 2021] that, for me, is more relevant today than ever before. The stage is set, it’s up to us to make it happen. Don’t miss this opportunity!♥️

Open to where God is taking me. It’s time!

What Are You Waiting For?

Let me guess. You are waiting for the perfect moment to get started. Waiting until you have everything you need, or believe you need, before making your big move. I know. I know because I have been there, and in certain circumstances I am still there. Yes… I am still a work in progress.

Well, from what I have learned from past experiences, there will never be the perfect time to get started or make your next move(s). You just have to do it. You have to do it without seeing the entire picture. You have to do it without knowing the outcome. You have to do it because if you don’t, your life will never change.

Just take the first step and allow God to guide you through the rest. I promise you, you will not fail. Now, I am not saying everything will be smooth and easy. However, I do know God won’t let you fail. He won’t. Trust Him and move.♥️ ~Shaun

You are already equipped with everything you need. You don’t need anything else.

Dreams

Just woke up from another disturbing dream. Not going to call it a nightmare this time; however, it was definitely disturbing.

I am a dreamer. Have always been one. Now, I will admit that most of my dreams are kind of weird and be all over the place, but they are rarely concerning. In my lifetime (since childhood), only a few dreams have been disturbing/concerning, and the majority of those dreams have already come to pass. Yes, I dreamt about things before they happened. Now, the dreams that used to come every so often are happening more frequently. When I tell you these dreams have had me praying more. Whew!!

Short story:

A few days ago, I witnessed a dream I had several years ago (2018) come to pass. The crazy part is, a few days before the dream came to pass, I shared it with my daughter. Had come across it while reading past journal entries. We laughed and joked about it thinking, ain’t no way that would ever happen. Well… it happened.

When I tell you that dream had my daughter and I shook! Had me feeling like I was in some crazy movie. Had I not written it down or shared it with her, I swear no one would’ve ever believed me.

I’m going to try to go back to sleep. Praying my dreams are more pleasant, or I don’t dream at all. Praying God covers and protects us against everything that is trying to destroy us. No weapon formed against us will prosper. Amen

No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness isfrom Me,”
Says the Lord.

Isaiah 54:17 NKJV

Stay safe, covered, and prayed up. Love you!♥️

Keep Climbing

You are so very close. Keep going!

Distractions will come.
Setbacks will happen.
Never stop climbing.

Rest when needed.
Crawl if you must.
But never stop climbing.

You are so close to your dreams. Keep climbing.♥️

Unlimited Playtime

The following is the caption I used when I reshared my Wednesday Writings (shared in its entirety below this caption).

Facebook Memory: March 9, 2022

What would your childhood self create if he/she had access to the technology and tools we have today? Me? Everything I’ve created to date and so much more. Ha! I’ve already created an entire world [It’s Shaun’s World]!😉🤷🏽‍♀️

Wednesday Writings (March 9, 2022)

Facebook Memory: March 9, 2019

Happy Saturday! Here’s today’s social media find. Do you remember waking up on Saturday mornings looking forward to a day of nonstop play? Well, I do! Of course there was the dreaded routine of cleaning the whole house first, but the reward was endless play. During playtime, I remember being very creative. It was like, if your mind could imagine it, you could find a way to do it, even if the majority of the scenarios were make believe. Those were the days! I believe, as we get older, we become more skeptical and less creative because we’re constantly worried about what others will think or say. (I tell you, we give “others” a lot of control.) Today, I challenge you to let go and be creative. What would your childhood self create if he/she had access to the technology and tools we have today? I create accounts, pages, blogs and whatever else my mind can imagine at the given time. I know it seems like I’m all over the place at times, but it’s the way I have fun. Lol. Anyhoo – be creative!

Now I’m drawing! There’s no telling what I will be doing three years from now. Life is too short and too good not to enjoy everything it has to offer. Have fun!”

Now, it’s two years later (since 2022) and I am still creating as if I am that little girl with a great imagination and unlimited playtime. I still have a few more things in the works. Will provide another update in a couple of years. I never want to get to the point where I stop imagining and “playing.” Been there before. Never going back. I like it here.

I can still do it all. I don’t have to sacrifice anything… I won’t sacrifice anything.

I pray you are still imagining and playing as if you were a kid. Life just seems so much better/bearable when you are able to.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Be sure to have fun. Love you.♥️

Hope, Part 2

You have come too far to give up now. Remain hopeful.

Sometimes when I share, I share my thoughts as I am processing them, or as they are revealed to me. Yesterday, I had one of my “aha” moments about what I truly desired to achieve, not physically but spiritually. It wasn’t until I shared my message about hope on YouTube that I was able to put into words what that actually meant. Here’s what I shared:

“I have decided to build my foundation on hope. Not only hope for myself, but hope for others. It’s my desire to see a more hopeful world. I pray that I inspire others to remain hopeful through everything I do. Whether that’s through my posts, random encounters, or nutrition sessions and cooking demos. I must do my part to keep hope alive. The light is dimming. We cannot afford to let it go out.”

Please join me in keeping hope alive. Love you!♥️
