Today’s message is, “Do not give up!” It’s a message I have shared on this date for the past few years. No matter what things look like or how badly you might want to quit (I know you’re tired), do not give up! God is working on your behalf. Soon everything will work in your favor.

Good Morning! Here’s today’s social media find. Believe me, God IS working. Every setback is preparing you for a bigger blessing. Just don’t give up. No matter what, keep believing, keep going.
You didn’t break. You were being built. Still standing!

Woke up with the word “steadfast” stuck in my head. It’s all I kept hearing. Now, my Facebook memories are showering me with confirmations. Listen, do not…I repeat…DO NOT give up!! God is working.
1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV) Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Listen!! DO NOT give up! What may seem impossible to man is NEVER impossible with God. Keep the faith and continue doing your part. God will take care of the rest. Have a blessed day.♥️
Luke 18:27 (NIV) Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
Remember, with God, all things are possible. He will not let you fail. Trust Him!♥️
I believe the following quote to be true. Whether it’s opportunities or relationships, we will always attract what we’re ready for. Now, how we handle those opportunities and relationships is solely up to us. The choice is ours.
I still believe it to be true. We do attract what we are ready for. However, I think the most important part of what I wrote was, “How we handle those opportunities and relationships is solely up to us. The choice is ours.”
Oh the freedom of choice! My prayer for this side of 50 is that I make wiser choices when opportunities present themselves. I am determined to live the next 50 years differently.🙏🏽
Every time I share this quote, I am reminded that I am living the life I imagined.

And so, she decided to start living the life she’d always imagined.

The last time I shared this quote was a little over 2 years ago. Back then I thought I was living the life I had always imagined. Little did I know that was only the beginning. I’m not sure if I’m quite there yet, but it definitely feels like it. That’s what peace will do for you. God is good.
Are you living the life you’ve always imagined—spiritually, emotionally and mentally?
Now, here I am two years later (2024), again saying I am living the life I have always imagined. Of course, there is so much more to what I imagined, so many more aspirations and dreams to achieve. However, here and now, and even back then, the life I imagined was about peace and freedom. Basically, the freedom to walk in my truth; create my own path; and embrace my uniqueness. It’s about setting boundaries and creating an environment that fosters peace and love. Therefore, I am living the life I imagined.
I pray you are living the life you have always imagined or getting there. Wishing you a beautiful day. Love you always!♥️
Listen, my attempt at posting something completely original is already out the window. Laughing. I looked at my Facebook memories and just had to share this gem from last year.

You do not have to see the entire picture before making a move. Just make the move and trust God to guide you through the unknown.♥️
I am going to add—because it’s what I have been doing lately—you don’t even have to see the picture at all. God’s word is enough. Trust it and move.
Some of the things I have experienced recently have required me to make quick decisions. I haven’t had the luxury of waiting days to think of how different decisions could play out. They have been those “God’s hands is on this, now move” situations. Basically, I haven’t had time to create fake scenarios that would self-sabotage opportunities. When God says it’s a good opportunity, I move. And at that first gut feel that something that sounds good isn’t right, I decline it quickly. Don’t even give it a chance to linger in my mind. Listen, I can think of all kinds of ways to make bad “good” opportunities align with my goals and purpose. Doing so in the past only delayed things I could have or should have been doing. Lessons learned.
Here’s my advice or what I have been living by. Trust God and move. No questions asked. Know the difference between the fear of doing something new and a true gut warning. Believe me, God will confirm your move within minutes. That, “Didn’t you ask for XYZ” is often the only confirmation needed.
Well, this is all I have right now. My daughter is leaving this morning going back to her new home. She and her fiancé came home last weekend for the Super Bowl and stayed the entire week (both work remotely). It was so great having her home. Last night we had one of our long, deep conversations. Honestly, I am not sure what we discussed but it was wonderful. I just love hearing her views on different topics, even though we don’t always agree. She’s a realist and I am…a bit different. Smile. However, all while she was talking I kept thinking, “This is my child.” Y’all, I am so proud of my two. Listen, they are not perfect but they are sooo perfect for me. I am blessed.
This morning I am torn between sharing the song that’s currently in my head or, not one, but several Facebook memories. The song has nothing to do with the memories. It’s just what I woke up hearing.
Hmm…. Let’s see what I decide.
Well, I went to my journal for inspiration, and my entry from last year basically summed up the Facebook memories I was thinking of sharing. So, I guess I will share a snippet of what I wrote.
Journal Entry: February 4, 2023
Today’s quote was, “Keep Showing Up.” I’m learning more and more that my dreams are not meant to be given up on. Even when I feel like things just aren’t going to happen or everything is pointless, God shows me otherwise. Those goals that I wrote down years ago, as well as the dreams I had as a little girl, they’re all going to come to fruition. What I imagined over 40 years ago, I will have. I just have to keep showing up and allowing God to lead.
I ended the entry with–
Lord, I’m trusting You to do it Your way. Amen
Honestly, I really don’t need to write more. I believe that said it all. The only thing I will add is, no matter what, do not give up on your dreams. Many of mine are over 40 years in the making and I still have not given up so you don’t either. Love you!♥️
Shaun
P.S. That song that’s currently stuck in my head is “Exhale” by Whitney Houston. I know, very random, but that’s me. Smile
