Reconnect With God

Just came across a post of Fred Hammond—one of the greatest male gospel artists of my time—singing Commissioned’s hit song “Running Back To You.” Every time I hear this song my spirit automatically goes into praise and worship mode. Listen, if you have found yourself a little distant from God and need to reconnect, please take a minute and listen to “Running Back To You.” You’re guaranteed to reconnect.

That’s all for now. Praying you have a peaceful and restful night. Love you.♥️

God is waiting for you to reconnect with Him. He’s been waiting without judgement, but waiting with open arms and unconditional love. Reconnect.🙏🏽

Sitting Here Counting My Blessings

Singer, Koryn Hawthorne, begins her song, “Look At God,” with “Sitting here counting my blessings…”

I have so many blessings—too numerous to count. When I tell you I am truly beyond blessed; and I am forever amazed by God’s love, goodness, mercy, and grace.

I read one of my journal entries from this day ten years ago (September 7, 2014). Where I was then looks and feels nothing like where I am today. Where I am now is where I wanted to be mentally and emotionally then, but didn’t believe it was possible. All I felt was hopelessness. But God!! When I tell you I put my everything in Him and He did the rest.

So yes, I’m sitting here counting my blessings.

Listen, hold on. Life does get better. It might not seem like it when things are dark and you can’t see a way out, but it does get better. It does.

“Look at God. He’s making a way. Look at God. Every day. Look at God. I can’t take no credit, He’s the one who did it. Look at God.” Koryn Hawthorne

You’re Becoming That Person

Good Morning! Not sure if you realize this but every day you’re changing. You’re not the same person you were a decade ago, a year, not even a month ago. No, you are evolving and growing. You’re becoming that person God created you to be. So, whenever you feel like life is at a standstill or isn’t going as planned, remember where you used to be compared to where you are now. You’re so much stronger and wiser, and it’s beautiful.♥️

Love you always,

Shaun

Restoration

Singing, “Restoration has finally come. I’ve been restored back to my place in God.”

Been singing the Winans’ song, “Restoration,” off and on since I woke up this morning. Y’all, God is in the process of restoring everything we lost and adding more. How wonderful is that!

Praying you have a blessed and peaceful night.♥️

Good Night,

Gratitude

On this date last year I wrote, “God, thank You for my life.♥️”

Today, I feel the same. I am so very grateful for my life. I know I’m truly blessed. There are so many who do not have what I have, and I am not speaking financially. So many are seeking peace, love, and joy, which I have. And for this I am grateful.🙏🏽

Beyond Blessed♥️

Birthed By God

Hello, again! Here’s a word for you. When I heard it in my spirit, I knew I had to share it, immediately. Let’s just call it an early morning revelation that should already be known, but much too often taken for granted.

Message: Everything God births, lasts.

Everything.

It lasts. It doesn’t die. It might transition, but it never dies. So whatever dreams, hopes, ideas, purposes, aspirations, etc—whatever came from God will last. Period. That’s why you can’t let it go. It’s embedded in you. It’s who you are. Seasons may change, but those things that came from God will always remain.♥️

Discernment – Are You Using It?

Good Morning! Today’s Facebook memory is a great reminder to use discernment when making decisions. Especially when making decisions that are potentially life changing. Here’s what I shared two years ago.

Facebook Memory: September 6, 2022

Discernment– the ability to judge well: the quality of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure.

God has given each of us the ability to discern whether or not something is in our best interest. If it’s not, let it go. If it is, embrace it. Discernment is one of our superpowers. Be sure to use it.♥️

That’s it for now. Remember, God has given us all the power of discernment. Let’s use it. Our purposes are too great for us not to.

Love ya.♥️

Doing What I Love

It’s hot, humid, and rain’s in the forecast, but I’m here. It’s after 10:00 AM on a Thursday morning and I’m living my dream—doing things on my term. No one to answer to but myself. Don’t know what took me so long.

Forever grateful.🙏🏽

Serve: God Will Do The Building

Good Morning! Today’s post is a screenshot of notes I took on September 5, 2022 while watching an episode of Laurie Crouch’s “Better Together” podcast. Unfortunately, I didn’t include a link (probably should start) or the title. However, I did include who said what so you might be able to find this particular episode if you’d like to watch it.

Notes from September 5, 2022

Me seeing this message today makes me want to pursue my dreams even more. It’s confirmation that I am moving in the right direction and that they are happening…now!

I wrote those notes two years ago. Today (literally), I’m serving. I’ve been working with a nonprofit organization helping them prepare for their charity day event (coincides with the International Day of Charity) which is happening in a few hours. Y’all, I have been serving, and God has been building. Forever grateful and beyond blessed.🥰

That’s all for now. Thanks for reading. I pray you have a wonderfully, beautiful day.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Worth The Risk

Hello! It’s after midnight and I am wide awake. Fell asleep around 8 PM, now I’m up. Here’s a memory worth sharing. The reason I titled this post “Worth the Risk” is because pursuing dreams comes with all kinds of risks. The question is, are your dreams worth the risks? The risk of failure. The risks of disappointments, setbacks, heartbreaks, loss, etc. My answer is, “Yes!”. Yes, because there’s always the possibility of success, blessings, happiness, growth, abundance, and all good things.

I love the last statement in the post below, “Even if you lose, you just can’t lose.” That’s God.

Never give up on your dreams. Believe me, they are worth the risks. Remain optimistic. They will happen and be better than you ever imagined. Love you!♥️
