Look and think beyond what you see. Great things are already happening. Yes, they are ALREADY happening and will continue to happen!♥️
Yes, my first post for today has the same message. Smile. After sharing it here and across my social media platforms, I actually felt the message. It’s one thing to speak/say it and another to feel it. Well, I felt and still feel it, so I am sharing it…again.
Expect great things to happen! Expect it with all your heart and soul. Block the thoughts that you’re only psyching yourself up for disappointment. Baby nawl! NOT TODAY!! From here on out, despite our current situation or what we currently feel and see—keep hope and optimism flowing—great things will happen. Let’s intentionally expect them to happen. Just like I truly believe love conquers all, hope does also. Let’s fill the atmosphere with hope.
Love you!♥️
Shaun
P.S. Couldn’t wait until my schedule time to share. Had to share it now. Listen, God is working and moving. Let’s move with Him.
Earlier today, James Fortune’s song, “I Trust You,” came to mind when I shared my earlier post, Obedience, on Instagram, so I attached the song to my story and reel. Here are the lyrics.
Even though I can’t see And I can’t feel your touch I will trust you lord How I love you so much Though my nights may seem long And I feel so alone Lord my trust is in you I surrender to you
So many painful thoughts Travel through my mind And I wonder how I will make it through this time
But I trust you Lord it’s not easy Sometimes the pain in my life Makes you seem far away But I’ll trust you I need to know you’re here Through the tears and the pain Through the heartache and rain
I’ll trust you
(James Fortune) Oh God I trust You Sometimes it’s so hard because Everything that I see Tells me not to believe
Everything that I see Tells me not to believe But i’ll trust you lord You have never failed me My past still controls me Will this hurt ever leave’ I can only trust you No one else like you do
So many painful thoughts Travel through my mind And I wonder how I will make it through this time
But I trust you Lord it’s not easy Sometimes the pain in my life Makes you seem far away But I’ll trust you I need to know, you’re here Through the tears and the pain Through the heartache and rain …
I can I will I must Trust you
To me, the lyrics only convey part of the message. It’s James Fortune’s intro and spoken words throughout the song that carries the true message.
Today’s message is, “Do not give up!” It’s a message I have shared on this date for the past few years. No matter what things look like or how badly you might want to quit (I know you’re tired), do not give up! God is working on your behalf. Soon everything will work in your favor.

Good Morning! Here’s today’s social media find. Believe me, God IS working. Every setback is preparing you for a bigger blessing. Just don’t give up. No matter what, keep believing, keep going.
You didn’t break. You were being built. Still standing!

Woke up with the word “steadfast” stuck in my head. It’s all I kept hearing. Now, my Facebook memories are showering me with confirmations. Listen, do not…I repeat…DO NOT give up!! God is working.
1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV) Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Listen!! DO NOT give up! What may seem impossible to man is NEVER impossible with God. Keep the faith and continue doing your part. God will take care of the rest. Have a blessed day.♥️
Luke 18:27 (NIV) Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
Remember, with God, all things are possible. He will not let you fail. Trust Him!♥️
Listen, my attempt at posting something completely original is already out the window. Laughing. I looked at my Facebook memories and just had to share this gem from last year.

You do not have to see the entire picture before making a move. Just make the move and trust God to guide you through the unknown.♥️
I am going to add—because it’s what I have been doing lately—you don’t even have to see the picture at all. God’s word is enough. Trust it and move.
Some of the things I have experienced recently have required me to make quick decisions. I haven’t had the luxury of waiting days to think of how different decisions could play out. They have been those “God’s hands is on this, now move” situations. Basically, I haven’t had time to create fake scenarios that would self-sabotage opportunities. When God says it’s a good opportunity, I move. And at that first gut feel that something that sounds good isn’t right, I decline it quickly. Don’t even give it a chance to linger in my mind. Listen, I can think of all kinds of ways to make bad “good” opportunities align with my goals and purpose. Doing so in the past only delayed things I could have or should have been doing. Lessons learned.
Here’s my advice or what I have been living by. Trust God and move. No questions asked. Know the difference between the fear of doing something new and a true gut warning. Believe me, God will confirm your move within minutes. That, “Didn’t you ask for XYZ” is often the only confirmation needed.
Well, this is all I have right now. My daughter is leaving this morning going back to her new home. She and her fiancé came home last weekend for the Super Bowl and stayed the entire week (both work remotely). It was so great having her home. Last night we had one of our long, deep conversations. Honestly, I am not sure what we discussed but it was wonderful. I just love hearing her views on different topics, even though we don’t always agree. She’s a realist and I am…a bit different. Smile. However, all while she was talking I kept thinking, “This is my child.” Y’all, I am so proud of my two. Listen, they are not perfect but they are sooo perfect for me. I am blessed.
Trust God with total control. You won’t regret it.♥️

Good Morning! Here’s today’s social media find. Thanks for the reminder! We have to allow God to lead, and trust Him to do what’s best for us. If you’re used to being in control (like me😉), it’s hard to do. However, it can be done. I know because I’ve done it before (and strive to do it daily but my control issue tends to get in the way🤦🏽♀️). Think back to a time when you completely let God lead and He showed up and showed out. That wasn’t a one time event. He’ll do it EVERY time. Just trust Him.
Well, I can testify that God showing up is not a one time event. This past week, once again, God showed up and showed out! All I know is one day I had written down something that had been on my mind, something I desired, and a few days later God set everything in motion. Yes, I’m crying. Y’all, all I did was put it in God’s hands, left it alone, and He did the rest. It was that simple. When I tell you everything was so unexpected, and turned out better than anything I could have done on my own.
I know I say this all the time, but I am so serious, I just love the way God loves me. Every time I completely give Him control, He blows my mind. I don’t know why I continue to take it back. I am so very blessed, and so grateful to be loved.♥️
25. “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
26. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27. Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
That last scripture says it all! Worrying does not add one single hour to your life, but it definitely subtracts from it. Again, God’s got you!
