Since 2022, I have shared this same message and am sharing it again today. You are destined for greatness! God wouldn’t have it any other way. He created you to be great. As I recently did, take the limits off God and yourself, and allow Him to work freely. Allow Him to manifest the greatness He’s placed inside of you.♥️
As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “Faith is taking the first step when you don’t see the whole staircase.”
Have faith and take the first step.
Nearly four years ago, I took the first step to fully pursue my dreams. At that time, I couldn’t even see the next step ahead. However, as I moved forward, God revealed more steps.
Y’all… I’m so glad I took that first step. Soooo glad! Although I still can’t see the entire staircase, I can see more steps ahead. Today, I’m not as hesitant to make faith moves and I’ve become more confident with each move. I believe it’s because I’ve learned to trust God’s guidance. When He says wait, I wait—I’m not as impatient as I used to be to make things happen (timing is everything and others’ perceptions don’t matter)—and when He says move, you best believe, I move!
Again, have faith and take the first step. God’s got you!♥️
“Conquerors” by Kirk Franklin is the song that’s currently playing in my head. Y’all, we are conquerors! God did not create us to live defeated.
The song says—
“We ran the race. We kept the fight. We shed our blood for what was right. We carried our cross through storm and rain. Because of Christ now we can say—We are conquerors, conquerors.”
Listen, hold your head up and keep pushing forward. YOU are a conqueror!♥️
Father, God, please send relief, peace, hope, and comfort to those in need. Let them know that You are with them, and You’ll never leave them. Please wrap them in Your loving arms and let them know everything will be alright. Amen
I just watched another eulogy for President Jimmy Carter. Had no idea there was another one until it popped up on my YouTube feed. Y’all, this one had me bawling. He really was a great man. So selfless. His life’s mission was to make someone else’s life better and give them hope. Yeah… I’m crying!😭
Pastor Lowden said President Carter’s life exemplified the Fruits of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23):
Love Joy Peace Patience Kindness Goodness Faithfulness Gentleness & Self-control
Honestly, after seeing this eulogy, I really want to be a better person and continue his legacy. What a beautiful gift he left me, and he had no idea he was leaving me one. Yes, I am claiming it as mine.☺️ For real y’all, I am truly, truly blessed.♥️
Right now, the song “I Told The Storm” by Greg O’Quin ‘N Joyful Noyze is on repeat in my head. Nothing crazy going on here, but my spirit is definitely handling business on that side. So, I’m going to let it do what needs to be done.🙏🏽
The song says—
“I told the storm to pass. Storm you can’t last. Go away. I command you to move today. Storm, when God speaks, Storm, you have to cease. That’s what I told the storm.”
Whew!!! Listen, the storms cannot and will not last!
If you want to grow, you must be willing to 1) put in the work and 2) be patient. Yes…patient. Patient with yourself and with the process. I believe we would all prefer that growth happen overnight or instantly; however, it doesn’t. It takes time, effort, determination, and sometimes courage. All of which requires patience.
I hope your Monday has started well. Remember to breathe and take breaks when needed.♥️
