Too many times I stepped out on my own and He still loved me enough to steer me back where I belonged. He didn’t shame me, belittle me, make me feel like trash, or cause some tragedy to happen to get my attention. No, He lovingly guided me back. That’s grace.

My Sleep Pattern is Off
If you have not noticed, I have been blogging at weird times lately. Right now it’s just after midnight and I am wide awake. Seems like my sleep pattern has been off since I started school. Tonight I fell asleep around nine. Now, I’m up. It wasn’t like I tried to fall asleep. It just happened. So, now I am laying here trying to figure out how to remedy this.
My usual routine is fall asleep around 10:30/11:00 and wake up around 4:30/5:00. However… I would take a power nap earlier during the day. Perhaps my answer is in power naps. Hmmm…
Anyhoo… Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how do you go back to sleep? Do you even try, or do you make the most of it and do something productive?

My New Journal
Yesterday I purchased a new journal. It is the first hardback journal that I have purchased in almost two decades. I had become so accustomed to writing things down electronically that I had forgotten how it felt to pick up a pen and write.

Journal Entry: September 14, 2015
Thank you Lord for allowing me to see another day. From this day forward I will allow you to have my feet. I will stand up and move as you please. I will not be complacent. You have a mission for me, and I intend to complete it. I will no longer allow fear, doubt, and the complexity of things to hold me back. For I know through you I can do ALL things! You have my back. Always have. I will obey. Amen
Eight years later and my prayer is still the same—to be obedient and allow God to use me as He sees fit. Crushing fear, doubt, and complexities. I have work to do.♥️
