Life is so wonderfully unpredictable. You set out with one thought or goal in mind and end up somewhere completely different. Different is not necessarily a bad thing, it’s just different.
No matter where you are in this particular moment in life, know that it is temporary. Sadly, the highs don’t last forever, but thankfully the lows do not either. Y’all, God is so merciful. We must remember life is full of necessary ebbs and flows. They are all part of a greater purpose and plan. Although we may question where life is taking us, it is so important for us to trust God and trust His process. He really does have our best interest at heart. Everything will work out in our favor.♥️ ~Shaun
I cannot believe we are almost one full week into 2024! Time is doing what it does—moving forward without a care in the world. It does not care about feelings, life, peace or chaos. Nope. It just moves right along. Which brings me to today’s Facebook memory—staying present. I believe when we stop fighting time life seems to flow so much more effortlessly.

Let’s not be so consumed with the past or the future that we miss out on today’s blessings. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised. All we have is now.♥️
Staying present represents our respect for time.
Today, I challenge you (doing the same for myself) to stay present and enjoy the gift of now. Have a wonderful day and beautiful weekend!♥️
I wrote the following two years ago (January 4, 2022)–
As the years pass, I’m learning that the dream doesn’t always look like what you initially imagined. Nothing like it! My advice is to let go of whatever you had in mind and trust God to lead and guide you to where you’re supposed to be. Believe me, what He has planned is far better than anything you’ve ever imagined! Trust Him!
Believe me, even if you cannot see or feel anything happening, it is. God is still in control and working, and your dream is still intact. Hang in there!♥️
“Draw Me Close To You/Thy Will Be Done,” by Marvin Winans has been playing over and over in my head since I woke up. Listen, no matter what happens, or does not happen, stay close to God. Lean into Him. Rest in Him. Stay covered. Allow Him to lead. His will will always be better than ours. He sees and knows things we do not. His foresight is so much greater than ours. Trust Him and trust His will. He’s got you. Love you!♥️ ~Shaun
How about we change the narrative about instincts; beginning with trusting our instincts to lead us to good things, and not only protect us from the bad. Let’s trust the positive vibes we feel. Trust that those vibes are pure and true. There’s not always a catch to another’s intentions. When it feels right, let’s believe that it could possibly be right.♥️ ~Shaun
Y’all, we are only two weeks away from the glorious 2024! Yes, I am referring to it as glorious because 6/24 is my birthday month as well as my 51st birthday. How cool is that! Looking forward to every wonderful thing God has planned for me. It’s going to be a great year!
Here’s a caption from one of last year’s Facebook memories along with the Hello Sunday post I shared with it.

Only 2 weeks left in 2022!🎉
Whatever happened or didn’t happen this year, was meant to be. If you’re human like me, I know you celebrated your wins, even the small ones. But your losses, disappointments and setbacks… How did you cope – or attempt to cope – when things didn’t quite go as planned?
Me– I leaned on God a little more. I’m so grateful for His love, mercy and grace.♥️
There is nothing comparable to God’s love, mercy, and grace. He’s so amazing.
Y’all, self-love is everything, but God’s love will always, always, always reign supreme. I just love the way He loves me. If you do not already have a strong relationship with God, I suggest you build one. There is absolutely nothing like it—nothing like it! I cannot stress it enough, I am truly blessed.
Praying you have a peacefully, blessed week. Whatever goals you set for 2023 can still happen! Don’t let the countdown to the new year stop you from achieving as much as you can. You got this!
