I often share screenshots of previous posts instead of copying and pasting the captions so you can get the full effect of what was written. Sometimes, the hashtags I used are more meaningful than the text itself. Here’s what I shared two years ago (October 30, 2022).
Side note: Please feel free to let me know if you are not able to view any of my photos or links. I’ll never know unless I’m told.☺️
Trust yourself to make your dreams come true. I truly believe if God gave you the dream, then He gave you the ability to make it happen. First, you must stop trying to figure out how it will happen and start moving with what you have. Move, and God will guide you through the rest.♥️
Wishing you peace and blessings. Remember to always put God first and trust His guidance, even when you can’t see where He’s taking you. Just trust and believe it’s somewhere greater and better than you’ve ever imagined.♥️
I keep hearing, “Speak Life.” Not sure who needs this message but please make sure you’re speaking life over YOUR life and over everything and everyone connected to your life.♥️
Love you,
Shaun
Also, be mindful of the words others speak in your space.
“I think that a song should be something more than a beautiful melody. To tell the story of truth and reality.
I think that a song should be sung by a man who knows the meaning of sorrow and the meaning of true love.
I think that a song should be shared among friends. Then when friends are gone, the melody and meaning still lingers on.”
The song finally ends with, “Everything You [God] touch is a song.”
What a great way to start the day knowing that God’s touch results in a beautiful song; and YOU, my friend, are one of His songs. How wonderful is that!
Push yourself beyond your limits. Each day push a little more. Even if it’s only an inch at a time, keep pushing. Push until you achieve your dreams and goals, then push even more. There are blessings waiting for you!
Singer, Koryn Hawthorne, begins her song, “Look At God,” with “Sitting here counting my blessings…”
I have so many blessings—too numerous to count. When I tell you I am truly beyond blessed; and I am forever amazed by God’s love, goodness, mercy, and grace.
I read one of my journal entries from this day ten years ago (September 7, 2014). Where I was then looks and feels nothing like where I am today. Where I am now is where I wanted to be mentally and emotionally then, but didn’t believe it was possible. All I felt was hopelessness. But God!! When I tell you I put my everything in Him and He did the rest.
So yes, I’m sitting here counting my blessings.
Listen, hold on. Life does get better. It might not seem like it when things are dark and you can’t see a way out, but it does get better. It does.
“Look at God. He’s making a way. Look at God. Every day. Look at God. I can’t take no credit, He’s the one who did it. Look at God.” Koryn Hawthorne
Good Morning! Today’s Facebook memory is a great reminder to use discernment when making decisions. Especially when making decisions that are potentially life changing. Here’s what I shared two years ago.
Facebook Memory: September 6, 2022
Discernment– the ability to judge well: the quality of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure.
God has given each of us the ability to discern whether or not something is in our best interest. If it’s not, let it go. If it is, embrace it. Discernment is one of our superpowers. Be sure to use it.♥️
That’s it for now. Remember, God has given us all the power of discernment. Let’s use it. Our purposes are too great for us not to.
