Opportunities

On July 23, 2019, I wrote the following (shared the entire post in the screenshot below), “I’m learning that opportunities do come around more than once, just repackaged.” Well, this is absolutely true. As with issues we don’t properly handle—you know the ones that keep resurfacing in different ways—opportunities do come back around, often in a different form. Well… sometimes we actually get the same exact opportunity—not repackaged in a different way, but exactly the same.

Now, five years ago and even up until recently, I actually believed once a door (opportunity) was closed, it was closed. Boy was I wrong! What I am learning is God closes some doors until we are better equipped to handle what’s on the other side. Not only am I watching this unfold in my own life, but I am watching it happen with Vice President Kamala Harris. Y’all, it’s the same exact door (opportunity).

With this being said, know that closed doors (opportunities) do reopen. Yes, they actually do! So, don’t give up. Keep doing what you are doing and when the time is right it will reopen, and you won’t even have to knock on it. The door will just open. Don’t you just love how God works. Smiling

That’s all for now. Wishing you a magnificent day!♥️

Love you always,

Shaun

Growth

Facebook Memory: July 22, 2023

Lessons are necessary for growth, and life is filled with lessons. Be sure to build on what you have learned, whether from wins or losses. It’s growing season.♥️

I am actually enjoying this stage of my growing season. So many lessons and blessings. Learning and growing.☺️

The Adventure Ahead

This particular Facebook memory basically sums up what I began feeling a few days ago—I am on the brink of another adventure. These past several years have been somewhat calm but confusing at times. Well, the confusion is slowly starting to fade and everything is beginning to make sense. I’m not going to lie, I am both excited and anxious. Not sure what lies ahead; however, as I said four years ago, I have God on my side. Everything will be fine.

Facebook Memory: July 22, 2020

I used to tell people how much I LOVED adventures. Then I went on a ride that was way too adventurous for me. Whew!! But God!

This post reminded me that life IS an adventure, and some are way more challenging than others. However, by keeping our focus on GOD, we’re guaranteed to make it through. I’m a witness! I made it!!🙌🏽

Sooo… am I ready for my next adventure? How can I not be? God is on my side.

I’m ready!

That’s all for now. Praying you have a wonderful week. Love you!♥️

I’m Listening God

Can’t help but laugh because all while I was writing my last post, now deleted, I kept hearing Bishop Jakes’ message from this morning, “The Theology of Quietness,” subtopic: “The Silence of The Lamb.” My post wasn’t bad, I just didn’t need to share it. I should have shared this instead.

Three things the enemy is after:

1) Your power.

2) Your purpose.

3) Your prowess.

I’m listening God!

Here’s Bishop T. D. Jakes’ message, “The Theology of Quietness.”

I keep telling y’all God loves me. So thankful for His guidance.♥️

Trust Yourself and Time

The day before yesterday, I shared that I felt mentally and emotionally drained (see Stay Strong | Stay Focused). I said I wondered what would happen if I no longer wanted to be strong or focused. What would happen to my world? Thankfully, the feeling only lasted a moment.

As I shared two years ago in my Facebook post below, sometimes our current situation doesn’t reflect what we envisioned. What I did not share in “Stay Strong | Stay Focused” is that when I reviewed my Facebook memories that morning, I kept seeing posts I made about being in Switzerland at the United Nations. Said I was going to share a specific post every year until it came to fruition, and that post was posted five or six years ago. So, besides other things, I was also down about that. Then, God stepped in. He wouldn’t let me have a pity party. And I am glad He didn’t because I probably would have stayed home and missed out on several connections I made that day at the Paint & Chat event. I may not be where I envisioned, but I’m moving in that direction. Although I did not share my UN post this year, I am not giving up on my dream. As I said in the post below, God wouldn’t have given me the dream if it wasn’t achievable. Learning to lean on Him even more and follow His guidance.♥️ ~Shaun

Maybe your current situation doesn’t reflect what you envisioned so you feel a need to give up. Please don’t. Work through the uncomfortable moments. God would not have given you the dream if it couldn’t be achieved. You are already equipped to make it happen.♥️

God gave you the dream, which means you can achieve it.

Hello Sunday

“Beyond Blessed“ was the theme I chose for Year51. At the time, I had looked back over the previous 50 years and realized how blessed I was and still am. I stated that I was, “Speaking life, love, peace, joy, optimal health, success, prosperity, and blessings over this next year and beyond.” So, today’s Facebook memory goes perfectly with my theme and statement.

Everything I touch is and will be blessed. Everything! Because I am speaking life and blessings over them. Amen

Facebook Memory: July 21, 2023

Everything YOU touch is blessed. Everything… ♥️

It’s still true today!

Please remember this, especially when it doesn’t feel like it. Everything you’re currently touching and everything you will touch in the future is and will be blessed. Everything! Amen

Praying you have a wonderfully, blessed day!♥️

Love you always,

Shaun
