Yes, comfort prevents change. Also, you cannot change what you can’t see. And the only way to see what’s hidden is to shake up a few things. Y’all, soooo much has been shaken and uncovered over the past several months, and there’s no going back.
There were two distinct sides in this election—one that was just, fair, inclusive, willing to work together for everyone, and just decent (that, my friend, is Christ like), and then there was the other. As I write, the election hasn’t been called, but it’s evident that the other may have won. But even if by some miracle justice, joy, and inclusivity wins, life as we knew it has forever been changed. As I mentioned, so much was uncovered, nothing was hidden. Everything was revealed and spelled out. My advice is to buckle up, stay covered, remain prayerful, prepare to work, and always keep God first. A change is coming/happening—eventually a beautiful change (I can feel it)—but not without a little discomfort/disruption, first.
In the words of Tye Tribbett or Kendrick Lamar (you choose☺️), “We gon’ be alright.”
But will everyone? Especially when they no longer have the freedoms to choose… their lives or their family’s.
Anyhoo… I digress.
I pray you have a fabulous day! Stay present, stay at peace, and enjoy the moments of now. You’re alive. You’re well. You’re blessed.♥️
Whatever you bury will resurface at the oddest times.
That’s my personal message for today.
Y’all, God’s timing is quite interesting. When you open yourself up to be worked on, God will confront you with issues you thought you had defeated, only to discover they were buried.
All I can say is what I seem to be saying a lot of lately—
You are exactly where you are supposed to be at this moment in time… EXACTLY where you’re supposed to be. Stay present, patient, and grateful. Everything will happen at the right time.♥️
Love you,
Shaun
Here’s what I shared several years ago—
It’s always best to trust God’s timing and His plan.
