Happy Sunday!
This morning I’m singing, “A wonderful change has come over me.”
Last week, my week began with Tamela Mann’s song, “Change Me,” stuck in my head for two days. I wrote how I felt my spirit and soul worshiping God. Y’all, it was such a wonderful experience, something I had never experienced before.
Well, this morning I woke up singing, “A wonderful change has come o-o-ver meeeee.” Smiling
As I mentioned last week, I am not sure what God is doing in my life, but it’s something extraordinary and it’s already been very much felt.
Forever grateful.
Beyond blessed.

Below is a reblog of my “Wednesday Writings” written on October 26, 2022. Honestly, I am not quite sure what storm or plot twist, as I called it, I was going through. However, I do know I survived it.
Y’all, by the grace of God I am still here and still standing after the countless storms I have been through. I’m so glad God never left me, and that He gave me the strength to endure the pain of whatever I was going through in those seasons.
I pray that whatever setback, storm, plot twist, or life experience you may be currently going through ends soon, very soon, so you’re able to smile, rejoice, and enjoy the goodness of life. Listen, don’t allow your current situation to make you give up hope or change your outlook on life. Where you are today is not where you will stay. You deserve a beautiful, stress-free, pain-free, storm-free life, and you will have one.♥️

This time I waited to post!
I had another message scheduled to post just in case I didn’t hear to share a different message at my scheduled posting time. I always try to wait before sharing because I often hear to share a specific message right before it’s time for me to post. Smile. The majority of my messages aren’t just random; they’re God-given. Well, I now realize I don’t have to choose between messages unless I hear not to post the one that I’ve scheduled. I can actually share both.
Today, I’m giving myself permission to share more than one message during my scheduled timeframes. I don’t have to wait and share them hours apart. For some reason, I really dislike sharing back-to-back posts. It’s definitely a barrier I need to overcome.
Anyhoo…
Some people would rather do a video or make a social media post; I’d rather blog.

Yesterday I wrote—

Sometimes I struggle between showing up fully as the passionate, loving person who believes there’s good in everybody and wants to save the world, and suppressing myself so much that I don’t show up at all. When I turned 50, I made a promise to myself, and to that five year old little girl who used to get in trouble for being overly expressive, that I would show up fully! Y’all, it’s taken me a while to get to here, and now that I’m here, I’m not going back.♥️

Smiling because three of my all time faves—my top ten of people to meet—were in today’s Facebook memories. Gotta love it!
I’ll start with numbers 1 and 2, chefs Leah Chase and Marcus Samuelsson.
During the summer of 2014, I made a Top Ten list of people I just had to meet in this lifetime, my faves. Well, on October 24, 2014, I met numbers one and two. Y’all, I was on cloud nine!!! The crazy part is, I could’ve met Marcus Samuelsson earlier that week. He was a guest at our national dietetics conference and had stayed at the same hotel as me (had no clue!). The morning I left, I remember looking up just in time to see this guy run across the parking lot and hop into a black SUV. All I saw were his socks and I knew. I just knew it was him. A few hours later, I received a text from one of my friends telling me ‘that chef’ I liked was doing a food demo. It was him!!! Had I known he was going to be there, I would’ve stayed for that day of the conference. But it was okay because I got to meet him, along with my other fave, Leah Chase, the end of that week. See my past posts for more details—probably posts around this date. Very interesting story.
Now, my other fave! Y’all already know him—Mr. Tyler Perry! Lol. He was also on that list of people to meet. He rounded off the top five—Chef Rick Bayless was number three and Michelle Obama, number four. Well, my number five, my all time fav, also showed up on my timeline this morning, and it’s so timely, almost like it was made for this moment. Here’s the post.
What makes this post even more special than it showing up on my timeline today is that one of the shows under that Netflix deal, premieres today!!!! Y’all, “Beauty in Black” is streaming today! Yayyyy!!! It’s his first series produced exclusively for Netflix. Can’t wait to check it out!!

God is moving and moving in a mighty way. I can feel it in my soul and spirit, and it’s not superficial or emotional but purely spiritual. I know I can’t be the only one experiencing this.
Y’all, I am still hearing the songs, “Change Me” and “I Do Worship.” When I tell you my spirit is full, and the worship is running over. I haven’t experienced this level of worship before for more than an hour or so. So, this experience is very different. I really wish I could explain it in a way where you could also experience it. It’s like, while I’m going about my everyday life—working and all—the angels, my soul, and my spirit are having a good ole time worshiping God. I check in every now and then and do a little hand wave or say Hallelujah, but they are going at it! And I am here for it! Laughing
Listen, that’s all! I just wanted to give y’all an update. Smile. I hope your week has been just as excitingly different as mine.♥️
