Life Is Interesting

Good Morning☀️

Today, I came across a quote by James Baldwin in my Facebook memories that made me think of a question I often ask myself– “How did I end up here?” Meaning, how did I end up in this space in time? Well, as James Baldwin’s quote suggests, all it takes is a millimeter of a shift, and our lives can change forever.

Although the James Baldwin quote refers to changes in the world, I can easily relate it to the personal changes that have happened to me over time. It only took one event, one experience, or one encounter for something inside me to shift. I can see it, now. I was no longer the person I was moments before that event occurred.

Y’all, life is interesting…

Side note: Just heard this, be careful of the spaces you enter and who you allow in your space. Some events and experiences are intentionally designed to alter your thoughts and behaviors. Whew!

Listen, we must stay prayed up and take God with us everywhere we go. Discernment and God’s covering are so necessary. If it doesn’t feel right, it’s not right—period, and we have to stop trying to make it feel right. There’s a distinct difference between fear or uncertainty about the unknown and feelings of unease. Uneasiness isn’t a good sign. RUN!!!

Okay… I had no idea this quote would lead me in this direction; however, here we are. Smile.

I believe I will end here. Thanks for reading. I pray you have an exceptionally blessed day.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

Discernment – Are You Using It?

Good Morning! Today’s Facebook memory is a great reminder to use discernment when making decisions. Especially when making decisions that are potentially life changing. Here’s what I shared two years ago.

Facebook Memory: September 6, 2022

Discernment– the ability to judge well: the quality of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure.

God has given each of us the ability to discern whether or not something is in our best interest. If it’s not, let it go. If it is, embrace it. Discernment is one of our superpowers. Be sure to use it.♥️

That’s it for now. Remember, God has given us all the power of discernment. Let’s use it. Our purposes are too great for us not to.

Love ya.♥️

Stay Covered

Just woke up from a series of dreams. All three were different. Some people I knew. Some I didn’t. The main themes in all of them were manipulation for entrapment.

Y’all, please be careful out there. Everyone who is pretending to be for you, ain’t for you, and they will go to all ends to achieve detriment. All ends! Even faking being hurt. This isn’t only to destroy you physically but spiritually. They will also use others to finesse you to get it done. So it’s not just them alone. Others are helping.

Not writing this for anyone to be paranoid; however, be cautious. In the last dream, the one that jolted me out of my sleep, I was told the person was going to offer me something small and simple. So simple and small that it seemed harmless. Right before I woke up, someone was handing me something.

Can’t stress this enough—Stay covered!! And use discernment. If it doesn’t feel right, get out!

Please, be careful.

Love you!♥️

Hello Sunday

Y’all, let me tell you how MY God works! Listen! I am forever in awe of Him!!! When I tell y’all He loves me!

Okay… so I was just about to share an entirely different Hello Sunday. Had written about a few things that were on my mind. Nothing deep but some self-reflections I was having at the moment. Then, as I was finishing up, I was reminded of one of the gems I found in my Facebook memories this morning. Baby, when I tell you I immediately stopped writing! Here’s the gem I found. Didn’t know I would need this message so soon.

Facebook Memory: October 15, 2018

Good Morning! A friend shared this with me, so I’m sharing it with you. Everyone’s not in your corner. Some people can’t wait to see you fail. But God’s got you!‬

Discernment is so important, as well as listening to that still small voice.

Listen, I was definitely about to share a few of my weaknesses. As the song says, “God blocked it!” Whew!

Y’all, we really have to be careful about what we share and with whom. For years, I have freely shared my stories. I have had one crazily, adventurous life and I love sharing it. With this being said, there are certain parts that I only share with people I feel I can trust, or with those I believe would benefit from those experiences. I mean, other people’s experiences have helped me so why wouldn’t I use mine to help others. Well, I am finally learning to listen to that still small voice. When it says be quiet, I hush.

It wasn’t until recently that I finally realized that people will actually use your weaknesses against you. I know I sound naive but I honestly did not believe this to be true. I thought because I would never use someone’s weaknesses against them, they wouldn’t use mine against me. Again, I am learning.

That’s all for today. So glad God stopped me before I shared my other blog. Again, it wasn’t anything deep but something that did not need to be shared. At least, not at this moment. Wishing you a wonderful, peaceful day.

Be Blessed!♥️
