Today is the final day of Year50!!! This year has definitely been real. One for the books, for sure.
As I head into the rest of this decade there are two things I am certain of: 1) God’s timing is unmatched, and 2) I have been chosen by God to fulfill purposes that only I can fulfill.

I am so loving the woman I have become, as well as this side of 50. Looking forward to many beautifully, blessed years ahead.
It’s in the stillness that we hear God’s voice the clearest. It’s hard to hear him when our mind is going 100 miles a minute. Stillness is where we find clarity and peace.
My previous message was a call for stillness—Be still! So, I guess you can say this one is the follow upmessage, or part two. Smile. Praying stillness allows you to clearly hear God’s voice.♥️
Love you,
Shaun
About this drawing. Saw my iPad and wanted to draw. Pushed it aside and said I would do it later—which probably would have never happened. That’s when I heard to draw now. To stop waiting for the perfect time to do the things I truly enjoy. Now, was and is the perfect time.☺️ It’s in the stillness…
Remember, life is what you make it. I have chosen to make mine beautiful. God has been too good to me for me not to. I am blessed.

These next three days—the final of my jubilee year—I plan to be intentional about cherishing moments. Not for pictures. Not to write about. But to make sure God knows I am truly grateful for the life, family, opportunities, and things He’s blessed me with. Because y’all, there is no doubt about it, I amtruly blessed.🌺
Wishing you a wonderful day and beautifully, blessed weekend. Love you!♥️
Just finished a Zoom meeting for my ‘oh so’ exciting second chance. Laughing at myself. Umm… Tell me why I thought things were still the same as nine years ago. I mean, of course I knew things had changed, but I don’t remember so much work being involved. Laughing. Boy, have times changed. But I’m up for the challenge. Team work will definitely make this dream work. We’re in this together.
Listen, y’all pray my strength in the Lord.😅

Somebody lied. Fifty is not the new forty. Just saying.
Today marks the first day of summer! According to Time Magazine’s 10 Fascinating Facts About the Summer Solstice, today is the day the sun will reach its highest point of the year. Can you imagine being the sun right now? Knowing that today the world will stop and celebrate your power and beauty.
Shine bright, our beautiful Sun!☀️
Today also marks one of your brightest days yet, with so many more to come. Keep shining!
Did I mention my birthday is in four (4) days?! Yes, I’m excited!!!
Listen, don’t mind me. I just love my birthdays. Year51 is loading!!
Okay…that’s all. Please enjoy the summer solstice!♥️
Sometimes we stay in spaces to save face. You know, we think the embarrassment of leaving is worse than the consequences of staying. Other times we stay out of fear, or because we believe we have already stayed too long and there’s nothing left to do or give. Whichever the case may be, when we know it’s time to move on, we need to move on. We cannot waste anymore time in spaces where we were never meant to stay. Let’s learn the lessons. Accept the blessings. Then move on. God has more in store for us. However, we will never receive them if we do not move.
Comfort blocks blessings.
I pray you’re having a wonderful day thus far. Remember, God’s got you. You will not fail.♥️
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Earlier today I shared a picture from a few days ago. I had taken it after my cousin’s 70th birthday party and right before I removed my makeup, which was already wearing off. I decided to share this particular photo—unedited, without posing, just looking directly in the camera—because I felt it was my most authentic. I was exhausted, but felt so blessed (hence the reason for the photo). This little girl is now a grown woman. A 50 year old woman who is here, aging, and not afraid to be. No longer afraid to share her authentic, most vulnerable self.
I’m sharing this because a very opinionated friend of mine posted a response that only they could and would. Shaking my head, laughing. Honestly, it was a response that would’ve made me feel awkward for sharing, and would have had me second guessing my decision. However, today, I’m free. As Fantasia sings, “This is me.” It’s me and I absolutely love me.
Here’s my post. Those who get it, get it. Those who don’t…not my problem. I’m living!
Authentically me.
That’s all. Just felt like sharing. Praying you have a wonderful night. Listen, don’t be afraid to let people see the real you. It’s you! Love you.♥️
Saw this Facebook memory and immediately heard Earth, Wind & Fire’s, “Can’t Hide Love.” You can’t hide it so you may as well let it in. Just saying.♥️ ~Shaun

For love to win, you must first allow it in. Love cannot enter a closed heart.♥️

As Aaliyah sings—
It’s Friday (Hey) And I’m ready to swing, pick up my girls And hit the party scene Tonight, oh, it’s alright, mhm So get up and let this funky mellow grove get you in the mood ‘Cause you know it’s alright, yeah
Keep on groovin’ (Don’t stop movin’) Don’t stop movin’ Let me see you, let me see you go
Back, back, forth, and forth (Go back) Let me see you go Back, back, forth, and forth (Alright) I wanna see you go Back, back, forth, and forth (Come on) Let me see you go Back, back, forth, and forth (See you go back and forth)
