UPDATE (see last post): I worked out for FIVE minutes while still in bed. I searched “Exercises to do in bed,” and lo and behold, there were so many options!
I’m going to start where I am (mentally) and work my way up. Without a doubt—or excuses—I can exercise for at least five minutes while never leaving my bed (y’all, it’s 5:00 AM and still dark out😩). This is doable!
I shared the following on August 23, 2019, as one of my “Social Media Finds” (things I found on social media and reshared on Facebook before I started posting here daily)—
I believe the quote to be very true. We’re always one decision away from a totally different life. Whether we decide to stay still or move, say “yes” or “no,” make that call, send that text, make or respond to a post, exercise or not, eat out or cook (all things I struggle with daily, but by all means grab whatever resonates with you and/or add a few☺️), every decision—big or small—is a decision towards a different life.
If you think about it, decisions are like forks in a road, you can only choose one of two paths. Each path sets you up for a different life. You may not see it at the moment, but after a while, especially if your decisions become a habit, your life will change. Don’t believe me, think about a recent decision you made or didn’t make that has changed or will change your life.
Personally—and this is only one of many examples—I wake up every morning thinking I need to start a workout routine, and every morning I say I’ll workout later. And it never happens! This decision or indecision is affecting my future. I know this. KNOW THIS! However, I’m still not moving. Hopefully, by openly acknowledging this, I will make the move to workout soon. We shall see.
Side Note: I’m laughing because I’m lying here (in my comfortable bed) saying, “You can do five minutes, Shaun—FIVE MINUTES!”😅😂
Well, this is how my morning has started. I hope your day begins well. It is self-love Saturday. Be sure to treat yourself extra special today.♥️
Always, always, always sow good seeds. Always sow from your heart in favorable and unfavorable conditions. Then, trust the process of how and when they grow.♥️
“Speak what you seek until you see what you said.” Author Unknown
I seek love, peace, kindness, compassion, unity, and goodwill towards humanity.
In this current environment, it’s becoming more and more difficult for me to speak what I seek. However, I refuse to let my light of hope fade away. As Reverend Jesse Jackson would say, I must keep hope alive. I must remember that this is only one moment in time.
One day, if only for a moment, the world will move and sing in peaceful harmony. Speaking it until I see it—even if my voice becomes a whisper amid the chaos.
Speaking love, peace, and harmony into the universe.♥️
