It’s Harvest Season

It’s harvest season!

Question: Are you prepared to receive your blessings?🤔

Well… You better be because they are coming!♥️

Rooted And Grounded In God

Stay covered.

Many changes and anticipated changes are happening at the moment, causing fear, anxiety, and conflict. My advice is that, no matter what happens, we must first stay rooted and grounded in God, and secondly, remain committed to protecting the sanctity and integrity of humanity. We must remain loving, kind, caring, compassionate, empathetic, and respectful. Y’all, the well-being—not only physical but psychological—of our future and future generations is dependent on it.🙏🏽

Yes, life as we once knew is slowly changing. Please, stay rooted and grounded in God.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

I Believe

I’m just going to sit this right here for the universe to see. I’m not too old, and I still believe that what I saw will be.🙏🏽

Five years ago, when Bishop T. D. Jakes asked us to tweet the title we wanted to hold, I posted the first ones that came to mind—Diplomat, Liaison, and Ambassador. Although I may not officially hold either of those titles, I am already stepping into those roles on a smaller level. One day, I will walk the halls of the Palais des Nations (it has to be Geneva, Switzerland) as one of the three. Of course, God may say otherwise; however, I do not believe He would have given me the vision and dream if they were impossible to achieve.

I believe.♥️

Don’t Give Up – Keep Going!

Good Morning!☀️

Listen, DO NOT give up! I know it seems like you’ve been working towards your dreams for ages, and the closer you get to them, the farther you have to go. Believe me, I get it. I am right there with you. But guess what we’re not going to do? We are not going to give up or settle for less than God’s best for our lives. Instead, we are going to keep going. Yes, we are going to keep going until we see our dreams come true.

Here are two posts that just gave me the boost I needed this morning. I hope they inspire and motivate you.

Facebook Memory: January 6, 2019

The “social media find” that accompanied the Facebook memory.

A Facebook post that randomly showed up on my feed this morning.☺️

THIS!!! I may be 51, but my life is far from over, and my dreams are still possible. I must keep going!

When I tell you God’s messages are always on time. This is why I allow Him to lead.

My Facebook memory reminded me of how far I’ve come in ten years. Y’all, 2015 was a beast! My entire life fell apart that year, and I nearly lost everything (I still had my babies) however, I made it! I’m still here and much further along than before things fell apart. Yes, life is so much better. Also, randomly seeing Mel Robbins’ post on my feed was all God—ALL God.

Y’all, I am so grateful God loves me enough to keep me motivated and encouraged. That He won’t let me give up on my dreams or settle where I am, even when I want to.🥰

By the way, I’m going to go back and follow Mel. I have been listening to her podcasts for over a year or so now but haven’t followed her on social media.

Well, this is all I have at the moment. Thank you for reading. I really do appreciate you. Sending prayers your way for a wonderful day.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

** Saw this in my journal entry (January 6, 2023) and thought I’d share it too:

“What you say to yourself dictates the course of your life.” –Bishop T. D. Jakes

Be mindful of what you speak.♥️

It’s Done

Whatever you’ve asked of God, know that it’s done. Yes, it’s already done. Now, carry on. He’s got you!♥️

My Journey With God, No. 46

Happy New Year, again!🥂

Sitting here trying to reflect on my 2024, but everything seems a blur. I have journal entries and posts marking moments, but everything seems to have happened without a thought. As if I just flowed through it—which is what I asked for, right? I mean, I did say I just wanted to go with the flow. Laughing because God will give you exactly what you ask for. Gotta love life…

Now, don’t get me wrong, I had many memorable moments, but nothing was a real highlight. So, maybe I need to change my ask this year. This year, I don’t want to just go with the flow. This year I want to experience the spectacular! This year, I want to make memories and moves that I will be talking about for ages.

A week or so before the year ended, I said I was taking the limits off myself and God. Well, they’re off, and I’m challenging myself to stretch beyond what’s familiar and comfortable. I started implementing a few changes before 2024 ended. Ready to see where they take me!♥️ ~Shaun

Shaun, I’m rooting for you, Girl! I got you and God’s definitely got you! Happy 2025!🥂

Happy New Year’s Eve

Good Morning!☀️

Usually, I have more to say at the end of the year than I do today. Last year I wasn’t feeling well on New Year’s Eve so being in good health is a plus. Here’s what I wrote in my journal moments before midnight.

December 31, 2023: Shaun’s Journal Entry

“I am planning to ease into 2024 with love, peace, joy and gratitude. I am thankful for all that I currently have while looking forward to the blessings 2024 will bring. Not going to allow what’s happening around me to get inside me.”

That’s how I entered 2024 and it pretty much remained the same throughout the year. I entered it with love, peace, joy and gratitude. I expected blessings to come my way, and they did. Also, I didn’t allow what was happening around me get inside me. Since it worked last year, I’m just going to carry it over into 2025.

On another note… I will have a 30 year old in less than a month! I know, I’m saying it like she’s almost 30 months instead of three decades. Laughing. Y’all, it’s crazy! Where did the time go? Honestly, where did it go? And now, what do I do? I guess that’s been the real question lately, what do I do now, personally? I know what to do professionally, but I’m completely lost on the personal side. Y’all, I’ve been a mother the majority of my adult life and before then I was taking care of my siblings—since age six. I’m for real, I have absolutely no idea how to be a regular, single adult. Crazy, huh?! Just thinking about it is mind blowing. Well, I guess I’ll add that to my list of things to figure out or navigate through in 2025. Yes, it’s time I set some personal goals. Feeling excited!

Before I end, I would like to thank God for bringing me and my family through this year unharmed and healthy. I’m not sure what 2025 holds, but I do know God will be with me every step of the way, AND I am going to be obedient and remain covered.

Well, this turned out to be a hodgepodge of ramblings. Smile.

Y’all, God is moving and I’m moving right along with Him. I refuse to be left behind.

That’s all I have and I’m going to publish it as written. I haven’t had a good ramble lately. I pray your year ends with love, peace, joy, and understanding. May it also bring you clarity for the year ahead.♥️

Love you,

Shaun

P.S. And I thought I didn’t have much to say.☺️

Hello Sunday

Good Morning!☀️

Can you believe we’ve already reached the end of 2024?! This year flew by, but by the grace of God, we’re still here! Hallelujah, we are still here.🙏🏽

On December 29, 2021, I shared—

“Your next chapter will be AMAZING! Receive it. Speak it – “My next chapter will be AMAZING!” Own it!”

I’m smiling because I spoke it, received it, and now I’m owning it. I’m not sure when I stopped viewing my life as chapters in a book. Maybe it was during or after the COVID pandemic, or maybe it was last year, my Year 50. All I know is I haven’t thought about another chapter or looked forward to something AMAZING in years. I don’t have to because I’m already living in it. My life is already AMAZING—it just keeps getting better!

Y’all, I am absolutely loving this side of 50! Thank You, Lord, for making this side different and better than I ever imagined.

Now, don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with viewing your life in the context of chapters. As you can see, I also did. However, I’ve reached a point where I try to find the AMAZING in everyday moments instead of waiting for it to miraculously show up in the future. Life is just too precious and short to keep waiting for something amazing to happen when it’s already happening now. Just look around and you’ll see it. Then, once you see it, receive it and own it. It’s yours!

That’s all I have for you now. Wishing you an AMAZING, relaxing Sunday.♥️

Love you,

Shaun
