So many tears shed in silence. So many battles only God knew about. At times, the pain, disappointments, and heartaches seemed unbearable, yet you made it. YOU made it! You are a conqueror—more than a conqueror.♥️
I saw a Steve Harvey quote this morning that said—
Somebody needs who you’re becoming. Don’t quit now.
It’s true. Someone needs who you are now and someone needs the person you’re becoming. I encourage you to stay the course. Take breaks when necessary to make sure your spiritual, mental, and physical wellbeing are up to par. Then, keep going. Keep going! God’s got you!
I pray you have a wonderful day and beautiful weekend.♥️
Shaun… LaShaundrea, I love YOU! I love you for life. I love the little girl, teenager, young adult, and now seasoned adult you’ve become, and the wise elder you will be. Yes, I love ALL of YOU.
Many thanks to my past self for leaving that message for me. I have a notification on my phone set at different times throughout the day that says, “Smile. I love you.” I set them to remind me to smile and know I am loved. Well, now it’s just something that pops up and I swipe away. However, seeing this today means so much more. I needed to see it today.
Thank you, past Shaun, for sending love to me today, of all days. Smiling while crying. The fact that I didn’t send it to future Shaun, but to future LaShaundrea is mind blowing. Although we’re the same person, we are not the same. LaShaundrea needs the love today.
Y’all, welcome to my world, where I leave messages for my future self.
I love my life. I used to wonder, and still do at times, why God created me the way He did. I believe the answer is because He loves me, and He loves what He created.
Before the night ends, I want to share one more Facebook memory with you. It’s a reminder that you are so much more than people want YOU to believe. They know who you are but don’t want you to know who you are. Ha! But you already do! You know who you are and what your purpose is. Continue walking in your assignment while allowing God to guide your footsteps. You got this!♥️
Despite setbacks, each day moves you closer to your dreams. You live, learn, and keep moving. You cannot afford to give up. God has too much for you to see and do. Keep climbing!♥️
Whatever I need, God will provide. (Reread this until it sinks in.)
Here’s the secret—
Totally surrender every worry to God.
And…
Trust Him completely.
Matthew 6: 25-34 (NIV) says—
25. “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
26. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27. Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life ?
28. “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
29. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
30. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?
31. So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32. For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
In addition to the other two, I’m adding this last one because many of us struggle with it, but it is so key—Be obedient—obedience matters. When God instructs you to do something, whether to be still or to move, do it without delay.
This is all I have at the moment. I pray that you have a great day and a wonderful weekend. The South is expecting some pretty bad weather this weekend, so please keep us in your prayers.🙏🏽
Hmmm…🤔 How should I end this one? Been playing around with my “I love you” endings.
Two years ago, I shared a random afternoon message. Didn’t even create or include an image, so I know it must have been one of those messages I felt compelled to share. This morning I am sharing it for the same reason. It’s important that you know your vision is too small. God has so much more planned for you.
Decided to create an image for today’s social media posts.
Trust God’s vision.
The caption will be:
“There’s so much more beyond what you can see or imagine. My advice—stop trying to figure it out and let God lead. His vision is greater than yours.♥️”
I pray you have a lovely day and an amazing weekend!♥️
