God’s BEST
Good Morning☀️
This morning, I asked God how I would know what His BEST was for me, and He assured me that I would know. He gave me an example of how I asked for something very specific—not asked in a prayer, just a random ask (nothing intentional)—and it happened. He said that’s how I will recognize the BEST. It’s not something I will have to seek, second guess, or question if it’s the BEST, I will just know.
I will know.

I’ve been feeling this a lot lately. As we know, tomorrow’s not promised. All we have is today. I don’t know about you, but I would hate to leave this world without at least attempting to do the things I love. I just can’t do it, and won’t.

Growth Requires Patience
Just a little food for thought…
If you want to grow, you must be willing to 1) put in the work and 2) be patient. Yes…patient. Patient with yourself and with the process. I believe we would all prefer that growth happen overnight or instantly; however, it doesn’t. It takes time, effort, determination, and sometimes courage. All of which requires patience.

Joyfully Following God
Every year, I share this memory of where Shaun’s Daily Inspiration began. In 2018, I didn’t know it would evolve into what it has become. I didn’t even have a name for it then. Today, I use my drawings as backgrounds for about 95% of my quotes, and most of my quotes are original. Listen, DO NOT give up! I know it seems like you’ve been working towards your dreams for ages, and the closer you get to them, the farther you have to go. Believe me, I get it. I am right there with you. But guess what we’re not going to do? We are not going to give up or settle for less than God’s best for our lives. Instead, we are going to keep going. Yes, we are going to keep going until we see our dreams come true.

When I tell you God’s messages are always on time. This is why I allow Him to lead.
My Facebook memory reminded me of how far I’ve come in ten years. Y’all, 2015 was a beast! My entire life fell apart that year, and I nearly lost everything (I still had my babies) however, I made it! I’m still here and much further along than before things fell apart. Yes, life is so much better. Also, randomly seeing Mel Robbins’ post on my feed was all God—ALL God.
Y’all, I am so grateful God loves me enough to keep me motivated and encouraged. That He won’t let me give up on my dreams or settle where I am, even when I want to.🥰
By the way, I’m going to go back and follow Mel. I have been listening to her podcasts for over a year or so now but haven’t followed her on social media.
