Good Morning!
Our road to success may seem never ending. However, we must continue moving forward as if our big break is only moments away. That’s hope.

Good Morning!☀️
Here’s today’s social media find. DO NOT GIVE UP! Success does not happen overnight. We refer to some as “overnight” successes, but in reality, they’ve been working on their craft for a while. Think about all of the social media celebrities. Most of us saw them when they first started making videos. They didn’t give up. They practiced their craft until it was so good that others wanted to share it.
If you have an idea or vision, that’s been nagging you for years, do it. Maybe all of the pieces aren’t in place, and you feel like making a move is pointless. Believe me, it’s not! Do something. Work towards it. Just don’t sit idle and one day wish you would have tried. The road to success will not be easy. DON’T GIVE UP! (This isn’t just for you, it’s for me too!☺️)

Do not give up!
Keep going!
Stumble.
Fall.
Get back up.
Keep going.
It will happen.
Sooner than later.
Smile.😊
Remain hopeful and optimistic. You’ve got this! Love you.♥️

Happy Sunday! Have you ever wanted things in your life to change, but you were reluctant to change (behaviors or environment)? Have you ever assumed you’d wake up one morning and things would be different?
Well, my answer is “yes” to both questions—plenty of times.
When I think about my life, change always began with my desire for something different. Whether it was for a better life—physically, mentally, spiritually, or financially—or a different outcome to a situation, it first began with my desire for the change. After desiring the change, my thoughts began to change, then my actions. Soon after, my life changed.

“If you want something different, you have to do something different. Change requires change.♥️”

Yes, change requires change.
Question – Are you willing to change?
Think I’ll end here. Thank you for reading! Praying you have a wonderful relaxing day.♥️
Love you,
Shaun
Good Morning!
I began last year’s journal entry with the following:
“Shaun, your worship and praise shifts atmospheres. You were not meant to blend in. You were called to shift things.” (Shaun’s Journal, August 23, 2023)
I was not meant to blend in but to shift atmospheres.
YOU were not meant to blend in. You were also created to shift atmospheres.
Question – Are you shifting or influencing the atmosphere/spaces around you? If so, is it in a positive or negative way?
I am also asking myself the same. I believe it’s necessary for us to reevaluate our current situations and relationships and our impact in these spaces. If we’re lending to positive outcomes and growth, then we’re doing a good job. If not, then we either need to change what we’re doing (because sometimes it’s us) or remove ourselves from these spaces.
Hope
Peace
Love
Kindness
Prosperity
Growth
These are a few things I strive to bring into every space I enter. If I am not doing so, then it’s time to either make a change—if it’s where I am meant to stay at the moment—or it’s time to leave.

That’s all for now. My prayer for you today and this weekend is that you have a positive impact on every space you enter. I pray that it is so great that you are be able to see God working through you in real time.♥️
Love you always,
Shaun

Nothing or no one can stop God’s amazing plan for your life. Please remember this—especially when everything seems to be falling apart or not happening in your favor. Know that God has not forgotten you. He’s forever working behind the scenes. Believe me, everything will happen when it’s time and better than you imagined. Trust Him… or, as Rev. Jesse Jackson would say, “Keep hope alive!” Y’all, he looked so good and well at the Democratic National Convention. When I tell you my heart is still overflowing this morning. Whew!
Listen, timing is everything! Keep hope ALIVE!♥️

Good Morning! I have two Facebook memories to share. Couldn’t decide which I wanted to share most so I decided to share both. They were both shared six years ago, and from the order of my memories, I shared this one first.
Facebook Memory: August 19, 2018
“Today’s social media find! If you dream it, you can have it. Oftentimes it’s not other people. It’s our own self-doubt that holds us back. Whenever doubt tries to step in, shut it DOWN! Let doubt know you’ve got this!”

Then, the next post I shared, which was probably much later that day, was about a dream that didn’t come to fruition. Here’s what I shared.

Kofi Annan’s death hit me like Colin Powell’s did, very hard. They were two icons I really wanted to meet. Like, there are people you want to meet and there are people you need to meet. I felt as if I needed to meet them both and somehow missed the opportunity. Maybe our souls met lifetimes before that’s why I felt the need so strongly. Anyhoo… Even though I didn’t get to meet them, I did meet Leah Chase, who was at the top of my list of people to meet. My heart still smiles when I think of our brief encounter. So, dreams do come true. Maybe not all but the ones that are meant to, do. Smile
That’s all for now. Wishing you a lovely day and spectacular week!♥️
Love you,
Shaun
Good Morning!
From what I have seen and heard through others’ testimonies, as well as a few of my own life experiences, no matter how long it takes, your dreams and goals will eventually come to pass.
Eventually…
Honestly, sometimes eventually sounds like never.
If you’re still waiting on eventually to come, I have a few questions for you—
1) Are you still working towards your dreams and goals even if you have mentally checked out?
2) Are you willing to make the necessary sacrifices to attain them?
Last one, which is one I’ve asked myself—
3) Do you actually want to achieve your dreams and goals? Basically, are they your dreams or someone else’s, or are they things you no longer want to have/do?
Here’s what I shared two years ago.

Your dreams and goals ARE attainable. Here are a few questions to ask yourself:
Dig deep! If you REALLY want it, make the sacrifices and work for it!♥️

Your dreams and goals are attainable. Don’t give up!♥️

Hello! It may not look or feel like it, but everything is falling into place. Resist the urge to step out on your own and do things your way or settle.
Instead…
Be patient.
Trust God.
Trust His timing.
Love you!♥️

Wanted to share what I just heard in my spirit—
“When you take one step, God takes 10. You may not see anything happening but it is.”
Listen, I know I might sound crazy but soon after hearing this I went to watch an inspirational video. Well, before watching it I checked the date it was released. I do this from time to time to see if there’s a journal entry for that specific date. I like to see what I was doing or thinking at that moment. So, this particular video was dated almost two years ago, October 2022. Which was during the time my mom was in the hospital. Y’all, here’s what I wrote.

Okay… so a little backstory.
My mom had been in the hospital a little over two months. Around this time, we were waiting for her to be placed in a rehab facility. Every other day she was being told that she would probably leave the next day. The day before she actually left, they had prepared her to leave only to wait until the last minute to tell her she had to stay another night. I’m not sure if I wrote about her condition in previous posts, but she was suffering from early stages of dementia, plus she was in chronic pain, and she had lost almost all of her hearing. So she wasn’t in the best of moods and had become very aggressive. I had stayed with her night and day the entire time and I was so ready to leave. The next day (the day she actually left), I asked them not to tell her that she was leaving if they were not 100 percent sure. Well, they ignored my request and told her she would be transferred to the rehab facility (which was over an hour away) by noon. When I tell you she was watching that clock! Noon came and went. Two, three, four, and five o’clock came and went. Y’all, I can still remember how I felt that day. She was yelling and screaming at everyone, including me. I just wanted it all to be over. I prayed and made calls to everyone trying to get her moved. Around 8:00 PM that evening, the administrator of the receiving facility told me that they would accept her if she could make it there before midnight. The thing was, because she was bedridden and could not sit up, an ambulance had to transport her to the facility. I still remember her crying because 10:00 PM had come and she was still there. And I was crying right along with her. I felt so defeated. Around 11:00 PM I heard that still small voice say to dry my eyes and pack up my cellphone charger to leave. I felt too defeated to even second guess what I heard. I did as I was instructed. And as I wrote, not even five minutes later they were there to transport her to the rehab facility. They told me that they had been in touch with the rehab facility and were told they would admit her after midnight.
Anyhoo… I wrote all of this to say God confirmed my original message—
“When you take one step, God takes 10. You may not see anything happening but it is.”
Final word. Even though you don’t see anything happening, keep the faith; and when God instructs you to move, do it. Believe me, He has everything all planned out. He just needs you to trust Him and move.
Be blessed.♥️
