“Made A Way” by Travis Greene is the song of the hour. The song says—
You made a way When our backs were against the wall And it looked as if it was over You made a way And we’re standing here Only because you made a way You made a way
July 2021
I shared the statement above a few months after I became a full-time entrepreneur. God had my back then, and He still has it today—I needed the reminder I received earlier while in shopping (see “Often, Easier Said Than Done”).
This morning, I felt myself falling into the trap of just because I couldn’t see anything happening, nothing was happening. Y’all, I had done all I could in my power and had moved on. The last thing I expected was to receive that particular call and on a holiday. I guess that was God’s way of letting me know He still has my back. All I need to do is rest in Him, be still, and move when He instructs me to do so.
In tears right now because I am experiencing a moment of God working in real time. While in the middle of writing this post—while in Walmart trying to buy things for the snow and freezing temps headed my way—thinking about “often, easier said than done,” I received a phone call from a client to schedule an appointment. Here I am trying to figure things out and God is already working things out.
The message—When God says He’s got you and to be still, He means He’s got you! Be still!! ♥️
Now, I’m in here crying… Let me hurry up and leave.
Koryn Hawthorne’s song “Look At God” is currently playing in my head. The song says—
Look at God, look at God, He’s making a way Look at God, look at God, every day, yeah Look at God, look at God, I can’t take no credit He’s the one who did it Look at God, oh, look at God
I guess my spirit is singing praises for what God is currently doing and for what He’s about to do. Things that only He can do. Amen
