Good Morning☀️
I couldn’t decide on which Facebook memories to share so I decided to share both. They’re both true—

If something constantly disturbs your peace, joy, and happiness, you must—not maybe—let it go. Stress kills. Let it go! On the other hand, whatever brings you peace, joy, and happiness, keep those things close. They are your lifesavers.
Note the hashtag “Peace Over Pain.”

There is no truer statement than—“Your mind must arrive at the destination before your life does.” I had to see myself living the life I’m living now before I got here. Meaning, when I took the leap to bet on myself, I could actually feel and see myself living out my dreams. Before then, it was no more than a vision. Now, I am doing it! I’m nowhere near where I want to be, but I’m definitely living in my dreams.
Side note: I love how I wrote that in 2019, two years before I actually took the leap. I guess you could say that was the transition period of my vision becoming a reality.
This is all I have for you at the moment. I pray your week has started well. Wishing you a lovely day.♥️

You imagine BIG.
Then, you try to imagine BIGGER than that.
However, the real question is, “What does GOD consider BIGGER?”
Hmmm…
Because God’s idea of BIGGER is something I’m pretty sure we’ve never imagined.
Soooo…
What is BIGGER?
I guess only God knows.
And…
That’s when you say, “Blow my mind, God!”
Smile.♥️

Good Morning☀️
Since it’s Friday and January 31, I thought I’d share my Facebook memory from Friday, January 31, 2020.

That was five years ago. Boy, does time fly! Since then, I have taken more chances than I can name. At that time, my brother, who was my same age, had just died. A few months before he died, he had finally quit a job he had hated for years and ventured out on his own. Y’all, after he died, there was no way I was going to keep missing opportunities. I was serious about living without regrets. Now, I’m not saying all of the chances I took were successful because they surely weren’t; however, at least I tried.
Listen, take chances. Even if people look at you sideways or think you’re the craziest person in the world, take them. Maybe you’ll be successful at some, maybe not. At least you won’t live with the regret of not trying.
Well, this is all I have at the moment. Thank you for reading. I pray you have a wonderful day and blessed weekend.♥️
Love you,
Shaun
Just like I keep all kinds of memorabilia, I also screenshot inspirational quotes and captions to refer to when I need a little encouragement. In continuing with the theme, “Dream BIG,” here’s a message I saved from Joel Osteen. As you can see, it’s from 2016.

Smile…
“You cannot out-dream God. God thinks big.”
Isn’t it wonderful to know God has so much more in store for us than we’ve ever imagined?! Y’all, God is so good.
We are blessed.
We are beyond blessed!♥️

I have been going through my videos on TikTok and saving what I can. I had no idea I made so many videos. In my mind, I had only made about 10 over the past few years (I hate being on camera) when in reality, I’ve actually made close to 50. Who knew?!😁 I am glad I had TikTok to document things I didn’t feel comfortable with sharing on Instagram or Facebook—too many familiar and judgmental faces on those platforms.
I documented my time with my mom at the hospital. I also documented moments before she had the seizure that sent her to the ICU for the final time. In the video, I was all chipper talking about my upcoming 50th birthday. I had no idea that an hour or so later, I would never speak to her again. Another was a video I had decided not to share because I hated how I looked. I had left it in Drafts and ended up sharing it a few days after my mom passed. I was so worried about the way I looked, not knowing my momma would die so soon. I knew she was dying, but I just knew she had at least a couple of more weeks to live. The video I made was about God instructing me to stop focusing on everything I needed to do at home and to focus on being there with her. Well, I never shared that video until after she was gone. The way I looked no longer mattered at that moment. My momma was gone. Life…
Well, I said all of that to say, I made a lot of meaningful videos. So many documented memories I can’t afford to lose. I’m so grateful I am able to save what I can.
Since it’s Self-Love Saturday, I have decided to share two videos I made. The first one aligns with today’s theme of dreaming big (March 2023), and the other is one I made after the election (November 2024).
I have more Self-Love Saturday videos I might share over time. I still can’t believe I had so many. They were rarely planned. Anyhoo… Be sure to love on yourself and do something extra special today. You deserve the extra attention.♥️
Love you,
Shaun
Good Morning☀️
A few years ago, I made a video documenting a moment when I dreamed BIG and the dream came true. Here’s what I wrote when I shared the TikTok video on Instagram/Facebook.
Facebook Memory: January 18, 2022
“Manifest it! Wrote it down on 09/29/2014. On 10/24/2014 it happened. Y’all, it really doesn’t take long for God to work. He’s quite amazing!☺️
Never stop dreaming!”
And here’s a Facebook story I shared last year (January 18, 2024)—

As I shared last year, you are already living in your dreams. Please be careful not to miss the beautiful moments in front of you because this isn’t the dream you envisioned. Enjoy every minute of now. Believe me, so many treasures can be found in this present moment. In time, you will see what you envisioned.♥️
Love you,
Shaun
Good Morning!☀️

Habakkuk 2:2 (NIV). Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.”
A few years ago, I shared Matthew A. Cherry’s story about his desire to be nominated for an Oscar award. Eight years after he tweeted about it, he was nominated for one and won! Here’s what I shared:

Never stop believing. It will happen!♥️
Love you,
Shaun
Good Morning☀️
As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “Faith is taking the first step when you don’t see the whole staircase.”

Have faith and take the first step.
Nearly four years ago, I took the first step to fully pursue my dreams. At that time, I couldn’t even see the next step ahead. However, as I moved forward, God revealed more steps.
Y’all… I’m so glad I took that first step. Soooo glad! Although I still can’t see the entire staircase, I can see more steps ahead. Today, I’m not as hesitant to make faith moves and I’ve become more confident with each move. I believe it’s because I’ve learned to trust God’s guidance. When He says wait, I wait—I’m not as impatient as I used to be to make things happen (timing is everything and others’ perceptions don’t matter)—and when He says move, you best believe, I move!
Again, have faith and take the first step. God’s got you!♥️
Love you,
Shaun
Good Morning☀️
In high school, two teachers told me I could be and achieve anything I imagined—my English teacher, Ms. Tressin, and my Spanish teacher, Ms. Dreher. They both knew my dreams and aspirations and fed them. I am so grateful God placed them in my life.
Here’s a card and a quote from Ms. Tressin that was given to me over 30 years ago.

And the added quote (I was the only student who received one☺️)—
“If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it.”
This is why I still believe.🥰
This is all I have at the moment. I pray you have a fabulous Sunday!♥️
Love you,
Shaun
