Check your surroundings. Does anything make you smile? If not, find something. No matter how big or small – could be as small as a doodle – find it and keep it near. Believe me, that little smile will help you make it through the day.
Me.. I have my smiles. I’m known for keeping EVERYTHING – pictures, cards, letters, invitations, trinkets, you name it! Y’all, I still have notes from high school, which are well over 30 years old. They’re my smiles.

Welcome to this ride called, Life! Life is full of twists and turns, ups and downs, highs and lows. Just when you think you have things all figured out, you discover that you don’t. My advice– Buckle up and go with the flow. Trust the process and TRUST GOD. He’s ALWAYS in control! ~ Shaun
Set yourself free! Release past hurts, guilt, disappointments and shame. Harboring even the smallest resentment can make it difficult to receive and enjoy blessings. Release opens doors for receiving love, joy, opportunities and success. Let go and be free! ~ Shaun
Life is moving right along and I’m moving right along with it. I’m happy. I’m blessed. I’m grateful. I’m humbled. I’m content. I’m at peace. And I’m loved.
As I’ve said before, I’m truly loving this space I’m in. According to my journals, it’s taken me decades to get here, but I’m finally here. And it’s such a wonderful feeling! I don’t ever want to go back to where I was or the way things were.
As the song says, “This joy that I have, the world didn’t give it to me… This peace that I have, the world didn’t give it to me. The world didn’t give it and the world can’t take it away.” Amen
Thank You, Lord, for guiding me through the tough times. For giving me hope when I was hopeless. And for granting me peace like no other. Amen
