The message is good but focus on the picture. Focus on the picture because it’s one of my best drawings yet. Smile. If you have not noticed, I have started drawing again. For a minute there, I thought my drawing phase had run its course. Guess not. I am back at it!
Facebook Memory: July 3, 2023
Your dreams are important, too important to let die. No matter what comes or goes, or how much time passes, never give up on your dreams. Everything will happen at the appropriate time.♥️
Following another dream that was not meant to die. I am an artist. Not will be but am.🥰
Life is interesting. We never know where it’s taking us. One minute we think we’re headed in one direction and the next, we’re headed somewhere completely different. Thankfully, in the end, we always land where we are meant to be. Trust the process.
Wishing you a wonderful first day of July! Speaking new opportunities and blessings over your month. Praying God blocks everything against you and whatever is meant for harm will instead work out in your favor.♥️
Hello Sunday! Not sure what I should write about this morning. I scrolled through my Facebook memories and read past journal entries from this date and nothing popped out. Maybe I will have something to share by the time I write my second post.
Well, these three things/phrases just came to mind. Hesitant to write them. Perhaps they will mean something to you.
Illusions Trust God Be prepared
That’s it! Very random.
Maybe I should have shared one of my Facebook memories instead. Lol. We shall see what I post next. Until then, please enjoy your Sunday!♥️
Love you,
Shaun
Side note: I really hate feeling like the weird person every time I share things like this or random prayers. I promise y’all I am not crazy. What I am going to do is trust God, even if I sound crazy.🙏🏽
**Had to come back and add this part.**
After I published this post and stopped trying to figure out what those random words/phrases meant, I heard “Confidence.” My confidence. I must be confident in what I know God has for me to share. I focus too much on not wanting to sound weird or being called crazy. It’s not about me. It’s about God and His glory (which I shared yesterday).
While I was writing my previous post, “For God’s Glory,” I kept hearing Tasha Cobbs Leonard singing, “For Your Glory.” So, I added her song to my Instagram and YouTube posts. I guess you can say it’s my praise and worship song for today. Everything I do is all for God’s glory, not mine. He’s my reason. Amen.
Last year, I shared these two messages/memories as a pair and have decided to do so again this year.
I don’t know about you but there are times when I become impatient and frustrated waiting on God. Just being honest. So, I end up ignoring His guidance and attempt to do things on my own. However, every time I’ve done so, it’s turned out to be a huge mistake. Moving on my own or prematurely has never resulted in what I thought it would. Honestly, it’s only caused delays in my progress.
Remember, God knows what He is doing and what lies ahead. If He advises us to be still and wait, we must do just that; no matter how uncomfortable it gets. I promise you—speaking from experiences of both not waiting and waiting—when it’s time to move, everything will work out in your favor and better than you imagined. So sit tight while God works. And, when He finally says move, you better move!♥️
Listen, this year, Year51, is all about experiencing God’s blessings in real time. From the moment I wake up until the time I fall asleep, I plan to acknowledge my blessings. Y’all, there are way too many blessings surrounding me for me not too. They are like God’s hugs and kisses reminding me that I am His child. Such a great space to be in.
Last year I celebrated all year long. This year I plan to do the same, by expressing my gratitude for my blessings. So, get ready! I am preparing you now. The words “blessed” and “blessings” will be used quite frequently. Smile
Before I end, I would like to invite you to join the celebration. Because if you did not know… You are blessed too!! Yes, YOU!! So, let’s celebrate!🎉
It’s in the stillness that we hear God’s voice the clearest. It’s hard to hear him when our mind is going 100 miles a minute. Stillness is where we find clarity and peace.
My previous message was a call for stillness—Be still! So, I guess you can say this one is the follow upmessage, or part two. Smile. Praying stillness allows you to clearly hear God’s voice.♥️
Love you,
Shaun
About this drawing. Saw my iPad and wanted to draw. Pushed it aside and said I would do it later—which probably would have never happened. That’s when I heard to draw now. To stop waiting for the perfect time to do the things I truly enjoy. Now, was and is the perfect time.☺️ It’s in the stillness…
