I was tempted to pray only for those I believe are in need, but instead, I’ll pray for us all. Whether it’s needed today or not, we all know how life works, and eventually, it will be needed. People are hurting. Families are in need. A lot is happening—so much deviation. God, please send comfort, resources, and relief. Please send a sign of hope to those hanging on by a thread of belief. Show them that miracles still happen. God, we need You.

What sacrifices have you made in life?
This question is difficult to answer because when I think of the sacrifices I made, I can’t help but think of the things I gained—seeing a smile on someone else’s face, better opportunities, a more fulfilling life. So, to me, the things I gave up or put off momentarily (even for years) weren’t true sacrifices. I guess you could say they were just a part of life or my life’s journey.♥️ ~Shaun

I don’t know about you, but I needed this reminder. When I reposted Jay’s post last year, I added, “Do not give up.”
Never give up on your vision or dreams.
I truly believe that whatever God-given vision or dreams we’re striving for will happen. All we have to do is hold on a little while longer. My life is proof (receipts from my journals) that breakthroughs do happen, and most of the time, they happen at what appears to be the last minute, or when we can’t take another disappointment or setback. However, I now realize they actually happen when we release control and completely turn things over to God. As the old infomercial used to say, “Set it and forget it.” Basically, place it in God’s hands and leave it alone. He has an appointed time for everything.

This is your season for all good things, for God’s favor. Maybe you can’t see it right now because you’re so focused on what you’re lacking. But I dare you to take a step back, be still, and sit in God’s presence. You’ll see it happening. You’ll see how those seeds you planted years ago—the ones you gave up on because you never saw anything growing besides weeds—are finally bursting through the soil. You thought you had only planted flowers, but you also planted a few trees. Smile. It’s your reaping season!

This morning, I decided to sleep in and allow the rest of my day to flow as it pleased. After the past few weeks I’ve had, I needed it.
It’s been quiet.
I’ve needed the quietness.
I needed a moment to breathe.
I’m planning to move in the same manner this weekend.
No plans.
