Is My Heart In It?

I wrote my thoughts above five years ago. It’s true. Love and life flow through and from the heart. If your heart isn’t in whatever you’re doing or in the commitments you’ve made, it’s best to move on. There’s no way to pour life into something that doesn’t fully have your heart. You can try, but eventually it will fall apart. Speaking from plenty of experience.

With that said, the older I get, the more I realize that life is just too short to keep committing to things that don’t fully have my heart. It’s time to stop saying yes to every opportunity that sounds good. If my heart isn’t in it, I have to move on. The right opportunities will come. Opportunities that are aligned with my future.

Y’all, I believe I have reached another level of adulthood. Smile

I am thankful and blessed that God has allowed me to see another day. He’s given me another chance to start anew. I am so thankful for His love, kindness, mercy, and grace, and for His covering.

I am truly blessed.

I pray that you are thankful as well, and that you feel just as blessed. God is so good.
