Wednesday Writings
Can’t believe it’s Wednesday, already! It’s a little after midnight where I am so I have decided to go ahead and write.
Life is full of highs and lows. Seems like as soon as you experience a high you need to start preparing for the low– the unexpected low.
Yesterday was a pretty sad day. I woke up to the news that one of the artists from the rap group Migos had passed. I’m not sure if it was my daughter waking me up in tears that made the news seem more devastating or the fact that he was so young. All I kept thinking was that could’ve been my son. He was only 28.
Then, I visited my mom in the hospital and she wasn’t having a good day. She thought she was going to be discharged only to find out everything had been delayed. She cried and screamed and nothing I said or did consoled her. It was a lot. Yeah.. yesterday was a lot.
I’m going to attempt to go back to sleep now. I pray that the rest of the day goes well. I pray that those who are hurting mentally, emotionally and physically experience peace and comfort. Lord, please help us. Amen
Purpose
Purpose is not self-centered or self-serving. Purpose is so much greater than us.
I believe our true purpose in life is to fulfill another’s need. There’s something that we provide – different things for different people – that allows them to fulfill their purpose. Y’all, we are all connected to fulfill a certain purpose.♥️ ~ Shaun

Hello Sunday
Besides God, YOU are the ONLY one who knows what you truly want from life. YOU are the ONLY one who knows your heart’s truest desires. You know.. those things you have always longed for. Things you dreamt of as a child but suppressed as an adult because they seemed unrealistic or childish. Things you have never expressed out loud for fear of feeling vulnerable or being judged. Yeah.. those things.
Listen, we are only blessed with one life that we definitely – 100 percent – know of. Although I believe reincarnation is a possibility and heaven is real, the life we have now is meant to be lived to its fullest. Today, I encourage you to stop running from your heart’s desires (as long as they are safe- if they are potentially harmful to yourself or others, please seek help), drown out the noise and DO YOU! Be YOU! For YOU!♥️
Remember, life is what YOU make it. Be sure to make it what YOU want and not what others want for you.
