Here’s one of my Facebook memories from three years ago (June 13, 2022).
“Nothing that is truly for you will require you to betray yourself in order to achieve it.”
I believe this quote to be true. You will never have to betray yourself for whatever is meant for you. What’s meant for you will align with your purpose, which can only be fulfilled by being authentically you. So, stay true to who you are. Everything will come at the right time and fall in line. Believe me, God’s got you!

For the last hour or so, I have been singing Commissioned’s song “Victory.”
The song says—
“But God said. Hold your peace. Vengeance is mine. Enemies will bow down in due time. Hold your peace. I’ll fight your battles. Victory, victory shall be mine. Victory, victory shall be mine. Victory, victory shall be mine. …
Victory’s mine I know. The Bible tells me so. And if I hold my peace, it is mine, indeed. Oh, victory!” Amen
I don’t know about you, but I’m allowing God to fight the battles I can’t. Some things are just above my pay grade.
I pray your day has been great so far. Keep God first, and continue to allow Him to lead and handle those things and situations you cannot. He’s got you!♥️

It may seem like a weird answer, but I am passionate about goodness.
According to Merriam-Webster, goodness is defined as the quality or state of being good. Listed synonyms are – honesty, morality, integrity, character, and rightness.
I’m passionate about doing good, being good, and promoting good things. I have always believed there’s more good in the world than bad. Unfortunately, it’s not always easily seen.
My request of you is to please do good and be kind, even when no one is watching.♥️
“Shaun’s World” was the original name of my blog. I’m not sure when I changed it to “It’s Shaun’s World.” A couple of days ago, I celebrated my 7th Anniversary of blogging. I hadn’t realized I had been blogging for so long.
On June 11, 2018, I wrote the following in my journal—
“I launched my birthday blog early. I was bored and had things to share. It’s called “Shaun’s World.” It’s me and all of my quirkiness. I needed this outlet. I’ll see how long I can keep this up.”
I started this blog to commemorate my 45th birthday, but as I mentioned, I launched it early. I needed an outlet besides Twitter and Facebook to express myself without being completely judged. Thank you for allowing me this space.

This site isn’t meant to be stuffy or too serious because all of that is pretty boring. It takes too much thought and time to create those sites (been there, done that) when all I want to do is share.
