For as far back as I can remember, my mom had always wanted to be a published author, and four years ago, her dream came true.
I remember the day of the Facebook memories below. My mom was so nervous and excited. I told her to make the initial post, and I’d share it. Y’all, she received so much love that day!🥰
Here are a couple of my shares.
I miss my mom. I’m so grateful I captured this moment on the first of June. Thank You, God, for knowing I would need this memory for future June firsts. I’m blessed.🥰
For those who don’t know, I LOVE celebrating my birthdays, and I usually celebrate the entire month of June. So, if you don’t like people being extra, you may need to mute me because I tend to celebrate any and everything. Lol. Listen, if a butterfly happens to cross my path and I smile (all it takes is a smile), baby, that’s God’s gift to me and ONLY me.☺️ Yeah… prepare to be sick of me.
I love life.
I love my birthdays.
And I absolutely love my God.
Now that I’m getting older, every day and every year I’m alive feels more and more special. Just knowing that I am still here, and that I am surrounded by love, makes my heart sing praises to my God. Father, I thank You.🙏🏽
The theme I chose for Year51 was “Beyond Blessed,” and I am blessed. I am truly, truly blessed. I’m not sure what this coming year’s theme will be. I still have a few weeks to come up with something. Until then, I hope you’ll stick around and celebrate my month with me. And to everyone celebrating a birthday in June—Happy Birthday Month to YOU! Let’s celebrate!!🎉
I pray you have the most amazing day! May it be filled with pure, unconditional love, indescribable peace, and an abundance of joy. YOU deserve it!♥️
I agree with the author of the quote above. Not only do the things you whisper to yourself—especially when you are alone—have the greatest impact on your life, but they also influence how you move and embrace your authenticity. Be mindful of what you whisper to yourself. Make sure your whispers are always loving, kind, uplifting, and encouraging. In case you forgot, you deserve love from YOU, too.♥️
I woke up again with the song “Conquerors” on repeat in my head. I listened to it a few times yesterday, and I guess I need to do the same today. In case I’m not the only one who needs to hear it, here’s the link to the song.
I pray you have a wonderfully blessed Sunday filled with love, peace, and joy. May you remain hopeful that one day, we will live in a brighter, more beautiful, and kinder world. Continue to keep God first. Allow Him to direct your steps and guide you daily. Lastly, please take care of yourself. Your presence in this world is invaluable.♥️

I don’t know about you, but I needed this reminder. When I reposted Jay’s post last year, I added, “Do not give up.”
Never give up on your vision or dreams.
I truly believe that whatever God-given vision or dreams we’re striving for will happen. All we have to do is hold on a little while longer. My life is proof (receipts from my journals) that breakthroughs do happen, and most of the time, they happen at what appears to be the last minute, or when we can’t take another disappointment or setback. However, I now realize they actually happen when we release control and completely turn things over to God. As the old infomercial used to say, “Set it and forget it.” Basically, place it in God’s hands and leave it alone. He has an appointed time for everything.
That’s all for now. I pray you have a peaceful, relaxing day.♥️
When I woke up this morning, the last thing I wanted to do was celebrate Mother’s Day. I just wasn’t feeling it. But God and my daughter had different plans. I’m so glad she decided to come home this weekend. I needed her company. I needed the love, laughs, hugs (from both of my hearts), and good food. I may have lost my mother, but… I am a mother. God blessed me with two beautiful souls. How could I not celebrate this honor?
My daughter is on her way back home. We did more in about 18 hours than we would have done the entire weekend. When I tell you we laughed, danced, sang, ate, watched Netflix (started “Forever”), had a few deep conversations, and ate some more.🥰
To the mothers and mother figures who nurture and give selflessly, “Happy Mother’s Day!” You are loved and appreciated.💕🌸💗
