Keep moving. You’ve come too far to give up on your dreams, goals and purpose. Just because you can’t see or feel God working, doesn’t mean He isn’t. Imagine if you were to quit today and tomorrow everything was set to fall in place. Again– Keep moving!♥️

Listen, God is always working. Don’t give up!♥️

Don’t act surprised. You already know who you are. You’ve known it forever. What began as a tiny spark as a child has now grown into a full-blown flame that’s ready to be unleashed. So stop resisting the flow. Instead, embrace it and allow it to carry you where you need to go.

Question: What Do You Want Most?

Finally settling down. This day was anything BUT the “rain day” I had planned. I’m laughing because isn’t that how it is at times. The mistake I made was opening my laptop and forgetting to put my phone on Do Not Disturb. Gotta do better.

Anyhoo… I was sitting here and the question came to mind, “What do you want most?”. Not what you want at this moment, but most from life.

What do you want most?

As I often do, I’m sharing this question with you because I know I’m not the only one who needs to sit with it.

Once you find your answer, strive for that. Make that your focus.

I would say to answer the question without thinking financially or in monetary terms, but if that’s what YOU want most, then that’s what you want most. Don’t let anyone’s opinions or influence stop you from going after what YOU want most. Just don’t make it a person because that would be creepy. Just saying…

You may wonder how you would know when you’ve figured it out. Well, I believe that if you really think about it—as I am doing now—it’s that thing that’s been with you since childhood. It’s the one goal or dream you can’t seem to shake. It’s that thing that’s soul-deep.

By the way, I wish I’d had Dolly Parton on my list of people to meet. She was soooo cool!! Definitely my kind of person. And I didn’t know she loved butterflies as much as she did. I love butterflies.🦋😩

Y’all, we must keep hope alive. We can’t let it die with the greats of our time. We have to carry it on. And not only hope. We must carry on love, kindness, compassion, empathy, and goodness.♥️

Full-Circle Moments: Trust God, His Process, And His Plan

Since turning 50, I have experienced quite a few full-circle moments, many of which I didn’t see coming. Today, I had another one of those moments. The Facebook post I shared three years ago is still true—what you’ve gone through or are currently going through is preparing you for where you’re headed. Hang in there. Trust God, His process, and His plan. Stay open to opportunities that resurface. They are not all negative. I’m finding most are opportunities to do things better or move us towards our goals and dreams.

Remember, as long as God’s in the opportunities—and you’ll know if it’s Him—you won’t fail. He’s got you!♥️

Rejoice, Pray, and Give Thanks

Here’s an encouraging reminder from a year ago—

“Get up. God has conquered your storm.”

On the same day, I shared the following video on YouTube: “Get Up! Your storm is over now.”

Listen. Never underestimate the power of God, nor the power of prayer and praise. Keep praying. Keep praising. In good times, as well as bad. It’s easy to slack off when things are good, but those are the prayers and praises that keep you strong during the storms. They keep you going!

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)

16. Rejoice always,

17. Pray continually,

18. Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Rejoice, pray, and give thanks. (Repeat)

Today’s the final day of my birthday month. I truly enjoyed my celebrations. Smiling as I think about my time with my babies. Just thinking about our conversations and their smiles makes my heart sing. I love them so much.🥰🥰

Hello Sunday

Happy Sunday!

Rather, Happy Self-Care Sunday!

Today is the last Sunday of my birthday month, and I’ve decided to relax a little more than usual. Not in a rush to do anything. Today, I’m taking it easy and going with the flow.

This morning, I took my time reading through my Facebook memories. Here are a few random memories that made me smile. I’ll start with June 29, 2019.

June of 2019 was a pivotal month for me. It was the month my divorce was finalized. It wasn’t until my birthday, maybe a couple of days afterwards, that I celebrated being FREE. That year’s theme was “46 and Free🦋.” I had waited so long for it to happen—years. And then, I was free.

This was a second chance at life. One that I didn’t take lightly. A decision I am still grateful I made.🦋
This was me celebrating my newfound freedom. Enjoying the water and good food.
This is a picture of my babies using my location to pull up on me. I was so surprised.😂 I just love them.🥰🥰

Maybe I’ll take a ride down to the coast. That’s if I can let this bed go.☺️

Here are a few more memories from June 29th.

The flowers, the pinks, the gold, the look, the quote—all made me smile. I’m forever a princess at heart. Even when I’m ninety, I’ll be a princess.🌸💗☺️
Ralph T, Rizz, Rizzo! The New Edition king that’s often slept on. Johnny Gill is usually my go-to; however, for some reason, on that day, I decided to listen to Ralph. Yep… this memory made me smile. NE4Life✨
Yes, I’m God’s vessel. His glory radiates through and from me.☺️✨
