All day yesterday and now, this morning, the song that’s been on repeat in my head is Kirk Franklin & the Family’s song, “Conquerors.” The song says—

Whatever you may be up against, know that God’s given you the strength to endure and overcome it. You are more than a conqueror.

But I dare you to take a step back, be still, and sit in God’s presence. You’ll see it happening. You’ll see how those seeds you planted years ago—the ones you gave up on because you never saw anything growing besides weeds—are finally bursting through the soil. You thought you had only planted flowers, but you also planted a few trees. Smile. It’s your reaping season!
