My Journey With God, No. 88

God’s leading the way.🙏🏽

Isaiah 42:16

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.

I am following God’s lead. I’m not sure where He’s taking me; however, I trust Him to “turn the darkness into light” and “make the rough places smooth.” I know He will be with me every step of this journey.

I trust, You, Lord.♥️

My Journey With God, No. 87

These last few weeks, I have been sitting in God’s presence and watching Him work—not through social media, but in my life and through the lives of those around me. Y’all, I am forever in awe of His goodness, kindness, grace, and love. I am blessed. We are blessed.♥️

God’s Hands

Rest, you are covered.

Good Morning☀️

Place everything—your fears, worries, needs, wants, and dreams—in God’s hands and leave them there. He has already worked everything out in your favor, from your current needs to your future dreams. Yes, leave them in God’s hands and rest.

I pray that your day is just as amazing as you are. You deserve it!♥️

I love you always,

Hidden For A Reason

Hidden for a reason. That’s the message!

Talking to a friend about a blessing she received that’s been in plain sight for years, but hidden. Yes… in plain sight, but hidden. It was hidden until she was ready to receive it. I explained that it was hidden just for her and her purpose. It was hidden for a reason.

I just love how God works!♥️

God Knows

Good Morning☀️

On April 25, 2021, I wrote in my journal that I had made the following tweet that day—

“Sometimes the hardest thing to do is be obedient when you have your own agenda. When God instructs you to do something, do it. You don’t have to know why. Just do it!”

God knows what He’s doing. Even when things seem to be going awry, He knows. Our job is to trust Him.

Trust Him.

In the midst of chaos, pain, and confusion—trust Him.

It’s very easy to trust God when things are going well and going our way; however, can you fully trust Him when things aren’t?

Remember—

God knows…

He knows everything, the beginning, the middle, and the end—everything.

Trust Him.

I pray you have an exceptionally blessed day and weekend. May God’s glory shine so bright on you that others can’t help but notice your glow.♥️

I love you always,

Shaun

**Be obedient.

The Countdown

ONLY speaking blessings over my life.🌸🌿

Good Morning☀️

The countdown to my 52nd birthday has officially begun. Yay!!!🎉 Although it’s two months away, I’m already excited like it’s happening next week or in a few days. For those who don’t know, I love celebrating my birthdays. No matter the age, I still feel like a little kid turning a year older. I’m not entirely sure what I’ll do this year. However, whatever I decide to do will be wonderful because I will make it so.🥰 I’m thinking a floral theme this year—something light and summery.😊🌸

Yessss… Year52 is loading!!!🙌🏽🎉🤩

Wishing you a glorious day!♥️

I love you,

Shaun

The Country: So Serene, So Simple

When I say I want to lie in the grass and gaze up at the sky, this is what I’m talking about—the country.

The Mississippi Delta

Photos by Moi☺️

So serene…

Earlier today, the smell of honeysuckles and fresh rain was in the air. I also noticed wild blackberry vines growing everywhere. Y’all, there’s nothing like picking a honeysuckle flower and tasting its nectar, nor picking wild blackberries and eating them off the vine. Oh…and the smell of fresh rain hitting the ground! Nothing comparable! All brought back memories of my summers with my grands (grand and great grand-mothers, aunts, and community ladies who helped raise me).

I miss them. I miss my summers. I miss the serenity and simplicity of it all.

Great memories. Blessed to have had those wonderful experiences.😌

God is good.♥️
